Dark wraiths are the best, until you got the kiln open. Try raising your humanity to 10 and using the gold serpant ring, just go and backstab all of them and homeward bone. You should get them fast enough, another option is the giants right before O&S but i think they drop them less often.

If kiln doesn't count, I think that wraiths are fastest way to farm titanite chunks.

when I need the chunks and kiln isn't an option I hunt the crystal lizards. A little while ago someone suggested the great hollow for lizard farming and as skeptical as I was I went. Not only did I manage to nab a bunch of chunks I got two slabs!

Crystal lizards are somewhat viable option, but due to the fact that they won't respawn, I'd stick at wraiths, if you are looking for chunks. Lizards are good if u are looking for slabs tho.

Yeah, I concede that for expediencies sake wraiths are MUCH better.

Are you equipping for item discovery? I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but if you don't mind feeding slabs to frampt then great hallow!

i got it upgraded to +14 and i hadnt killed the stray demon yet so i used that slab
