Forest pvp is total CRAP

No very true Tolvo but i still have immense respect for the guys who, when I thought i had transcended Dark Souls and PvP with my awesome skills, showed me it was still a newbie at the world of dueling. And Im a better person for it.

PLus I hated being the official worst in FC.....

Well that's not fair, that was my Murakumo Cosplay, I was using a weapon I'm good with for once. Trust me, fight one of my weaker cosplays and you'll beat me easily.

Ill bring my murakumo build to fight it.

You should see the fat rolling giant with the shield and halberd. It is so impractical, but oh so fun.

Gotta agree, I actually liked the PvP style of the Forest for a while, especially while farming towards my desired soul level.

Once I hit that point, though... heh, let's just say there were way too many gankers for my tastes.

Shame you guys don't have a SL50 FC; it's quickly becoming my favourite Soul Level.

I'm not opposed to one, I've believed a low SL FC would be interesting for ages, way better for getting new players into PvP, since many don't wish to go to 120, 50 is easily reached before getting to the Lord's Areas.

Even though 75 gives a little bit more leeway in regards to builds; you can't really disregard the fact that most people get to SL50 so fast.

In my experience, FH is finding some way to deal tons of damage super fast and spamming the hell out of it. Like Fruit was saying, you're probably not going to straight up melee many hosts/phantoms to death since they'll be healing constantly. Granted, you've got quite a few options with which to do it, but the method is generally the same. Buffs+PW, hornet+rapier/str weapon, stack poise+stunlock, aggro trees+laugh, WoG+Firstborn Ring+DM talisman, wait for other hunters+reverse gank, leap of faith+stupid host, pyro+Dusk Crown+BDCR (my fav), Chameleon+CSS. Take your pick.

I am not a big fan of low level dueling. I did try creating a character for pvp only but I got invaded way to much and it was usually by people with heavy armor/weapon combos or by multiple people at once. That is why i mainly play on my level 457 account because the invasions are slow and controlled and its usually against a wide variety of skills and techniques. I am however open to dueling with someone on my lower toons so i can get better with lower levels. If anybody wants to duel please send me a message on xbox and i will make a dueling char.... Part of the fun is figuring out how to beat the gankers.

I hate when i run into gankers because i never win. Its not really a problem to play with a friend but they should atleast have some setup where the phantom fights first and than the host fights. Atleast it will be a little organized and you will have an equal advantage.

Yeah, you aren't supposed to win a lot against gankers. It is a different kind of mentality. When you do win, it's awesome because it probably pisses them off.

Where is the option for zero poise, dodging in between their attacks and hitting them with a longsword? Parrying them when they get too aggressive, to match my aggressive behavior haha.

It's a lot easier than you think, Gankers are probably the most predictable players in the game after all.

See, one thing that will often throw them off is being very aggressive.

"Hey look, another hunter. Let's chase him before he gets away, yeah we'll-Is he running straight for us? Well, okay makes it easier for us! Haha, just stun him and-Wtf, why am I taking damage and he's fine? Get him already, someone stop him! This isn't right, he should be dead, god damnit!"

It totally throws off their game if you play predator to them, rather than defending prey.

level 80 PW is nice so is that area before the centipede demon though it is a bit unstable
