Poison arrows are not to be underestimated!

Ps. I think all arrows should not be underestimated... I personally think poison is abit over rated and have got tons of wins by getting poisoned and pretending to panic... But that's just my view on poison.

Poison arrows are so handy and annoying as hell when used against you which is why I always keep my spider shield as a back up. I love it when my opponent is like why u no poison?

I am really competetive and I don't like losing but I do like challenges. Everytime I lose against someone who's just better than me I ask myself "What have you done wrong in this fight? What has he done better than me?" And that's how I try to improve my skill

I have really been just trying everything lately, and ditching some of the crutches i used. Dropping the dwgr has been one of the best things ive done, for adding enjoyment to the game. You really start to notice the difference in the i-frames though which can cause you to get aggravated You can rocka very similar build as you're using and still fast roll, here http://tinyurl.com/boeg2rj . Not saying people shouldnt use dwgr, i just really started to have fun when i switched. It really makes pvp feel new, cause you get s used to the flips.

That would be a good defense against the poison, but what about my silver knight spear and falchion...lol?

switch the gantlets for havels and put on the dwgr, that should be enough poise for the falchion, plus the res could be lowered to 75 like so:

3500 is still enough poison res to run around blight town for a good while:D

Although some people like to get their challenge from handicapping themeselves, and to seek improvement by forcing them upon their gameplay, I like to fight opponents better than myself to enjoy the fun that the game has to offer. I am very fortunate that I am nowhere near the summit of skill where I can't find someone better than myself, and that there is a sizable player-base that has much more experience at the Soul series than me; I find there are few things more exciting than facing someone where I have strong indications of losing, and giving it my all, even if I don't win. What I find fun, and what makes me a better player are 2 different things, however, and you'll find me in the Burg using dual Katanas to improve not only my parrying, but also to learn a top-tier weapon that I never have actually given a fair shot.

Personally, I think that Spears are actually the best weapon in the game, by far. As in, extraordinarily far beyond any other weapon in sheer mechanical advantage. Please don't spread the word too far, gankers hanging out in the Burg all armed with Spears prodding away at poor invaders is a nightmare I don't want to see realized. If you want easy-mode wins, keep using the Silver Knight Spear. Other than that, it doesn't seem like you fought any people that understand how to deal with the incredibly potent Bow with Poison Arrows; it's something you find in high level PvP a lot for a good reason. Also, if want to get more out of your Bow, I'd suggest moving it to your main hand; the crucial fraction of a second that simply stop 2-handing a weapon as over switch weapons will help you land more parries. I'd also say a Pyro Glove with a Great Combustion, and Fire Surge attuned is more useful than having another small Dexterity weapon most of the time.

Haha, I am actually a bit upset about you using the SKS.... It makes the game too easy. My friend who has never played Dks, I taught him the basics and he won 75% of his PvP matches.

SKS = Easy mode

Yeah, I hate spears. Combine insane reach, phantom reach, and lag, and you've got an insane weapon.
