Good faith scaling weapon?

i'v recently raised my faith to 50 so i can use sunlight spear,with much faith my lvl became 130,so i wanted to make use of that and try a faith scaling weapon ,my -poor- choice was divine DarkSword +10 and it was just a wast of a slab .
i'm currently using lightning and fire claymores as main weapons and their doing fairly good damage ,but maybe an occult claymore will do better with A faith scaling ,does it worth looking for a white slab? any tips with faith builds?

There's a guaranteed White Slab in the TotG, just before Nito.

You could try messing around with a +5 occult Painting Guardian Sword if you don't mind the short reach or use a +5 occult Flamberge for the bleed that you could get from a Washing Pole and it does 100 more than the Washing Pole at +5 occult. also don't bother using grant unless you are very good with the Large Club move sets. It takes some practice to master. Also, I replied to your request for sunlight medals if you still need some. I can give you the white slabs and chunks needed to upgrade whatever you need so don't worry.

Claymore get's an A scaling of faith at +5 occult. It's rather good.

Other options are sunlight straight sword, painting guardian sword.

I'll be honest though, for Faith builds I rather have a 40 dex scaled +15 weapon which I can buff, at least for PvP anyway.

:shock: Thanks man a slab would really be helpful so i guess im going with the claymore , i like the moveset and im comfortable with it , some faith build tips?

I think you're gonna have to stick to the simpler swords. I was gonna suggest an occult winged spear otherwise.

Don't worry about scaling, instead, choose a weapon you're good with. I have a 50 faith build that uses an occult zweih and an occult Great Scythe. I can however, use a variety of occult weapons, same as you.

i didn't have any luck with buffs ,at least with the sunlight blade and a +15 uchigatana (on another sl 345 build) its good but i usually wait people to invade so as a host i dont restore my miracles after defeating someone..

I completely forgot about Sunlight Blade and Darkmoon. If you could, get Darkmoon over Sunlight. I prefer Sunlight though because it's more practical to get and does Lightning as opposed to Magic. If you're going to buff your weapons use Power Within for greater effects.

you need the dark ember from the painted world for occult weapons, right?

You can use divine as well. Even though scaling varies, their damage is almost the same.

Id stick with the clay if thats what tour good with. Like wyrm said, divine or occult would work great with it. Maybe pick up a couple other weapons that you can use to and make em divine/occult too just to have backup weapons. Cant really go wrong with the clay though
