    Hi all,

I've finished my 1st playthrough a few weeks ago, and making solid progress on my NG+, so now I think it's time to start my PvP specific playthrough (SL120)....

I think the Murakumo is my favourite weapon, so want to centre my build around that - this is what I've come up with so far:

Any thoughts? Any areas I could improve upon? Is it too 'standard'??

    Thanks in advance.

Personally I'd drop the MoM and Havel Guantlets and replace them with the Wolf Ring. With the Eastern Set you now have about 76 Poise which is enough for all those Great Swords out there.

You can sub in any armour really due to the well rounded nature of your build though.

MoM just doesnt strike me as a great looking or particularly 'good' (in all senses of the word) piece of head gear. Though if you are dead sent on having the RoFaP then just ignore the armour suggestion.

Heres my take on your build with minimal changes

Essentially lose that extra 1 Vit- Negligable in the Grandscheme of things

Add that Point to Dex for the extra scaling.

Also While DMB is considered the 'strongest' buff in terms of damage Magic Barrier and Great Magic barrier or any Magic resistant Armour will negate quite a bit of damage, consider getting Sunlight Blade as well or instead of (on a second play through) for variation and as lightning res is slightly harder to come by than Magic Res

Thanks for your thoughts Viral, much appreciated.

I like the armour suggestion - Eastern is definitely one that I like, however I'm a little nervous about the 1325 HP...adding RoFaP (no more Ninja Flip, which I can live with) takes this up to 1590 which (psychologically, if nothing else) *feels* better...or am I just being stupid, as the 265 added HP is what? Half a hit with most weapons??

I would say level up attunement and dex more so you can have more miracles and faster casting. If you are more focused on the combat than maybe a little more strength and dex. Other than that the build looks pretty good for a 120.

Do you really need the shield? I'm not a fan of "in-between" stat numbers. Max effective AR or nothing.

The Canvas Talisman will be more powerful at 30 Faith. The Darkmoon doesn't get to be the best talisman until 40 Faith. Aside from that, the regular Crest shield is better than the dragon crest shield because sorcery will hit you harder and will necessitate more blocking than pyro. Besides that, "Darkmoon mura" speaks for itself. You'll find that Pvp gets easy against most people because you'll kill them in three or four hits no matter what.
