Share your wisdom (dex builds)

So after playing around with my mage for à while I thought of making à new Dex Pvp build. There are so many different ways to go so I ended up staring at the 'create character' screen, realizing I couldnt make up my mind about which way to go.

Pure Dex
Dex/Faith (50/30 faith)
Dex/int (32int)
Dex/Pyro

I know it comes down to what I prefer but thats exactly what I'm having à hard time doing.
Faith vs Int more or less comes down to WoG vs CHSM (+chameleon), with CHSM beeing less useful as à DW.
The pure route not giving you acess to any of the more powerful buffs.

So I would like to hear from you guys what your experiences are with the different builds, hopefully that will help me decide

Pros/cons, fun/boring, easy/hard.

I like the dex/faith for sunlight/darkmoon blade miracle.

I don't use faith buffs/miracles (I hate WoG) so my 120 dex/pyro looks like this

Vit 50/Att 23/End 40/St 14/Dex 45/Everything else base.

+ Crown of dusk = lots of fast flame power.

i dont know why you put dex/fai if you dont like faith buffs then, it seems like you just answered your question, go with dex/t int, chameleon is very useful ad fun when you invade.

in my experience, pure will have more consistant damage and be the least gimped untill its built while the int/faith routes will be a bit tougher to manage but be more versatile and have lower base damage but if you get off a buff whatever weapon you buffed means serious buisness for the duration. hope this helps.

On my current character I have a dex build with 25 int to unlock CMW. Using the non-scaling oolacile catalyst adds around 250 damage, with my iato+15 doing around 410 with 40 dex gives an AR nearing 700 without too much of a stat investment.Which leaves me free to gouge a bit more vitality and still take my endurance up to 40.

Started à pyro today so Faith will have to wait until I make my next Str char.
At the moment I'm leaning towards something like what toastfacekillah wrote, using resins or maybe add 5int for GMW.
Either that or go for CMW at 32 int, not sure tho since I already got my Mage (MLGS/Velka).

On my build (starting as a Wanderer), You don't really need the extra attunement slot at 23 (and you're looking for SL120) for 6 slots as 5 at 19 is plenty so you could put those extra 4 points into INT to us GMW.

Personally, I use a +15 iaito with pine resin and switch to a +5 Chaos Iaito (+10) humanity, which does plenty of damage, when the resin runs out.

If you are looking for the highest damage output, DMB is your only choice. DMB turns even a slashing bandit knife into something to be feared. On something like a washing pole with the insane phantom range that thing has its basically game over.

Decided to do a pyro/dex with fire resin as buff, low dmg but fits the character. Style over damage!
Saving DMB for my str build.
