You have to remember the Moonlight Greatsword and Moonlight Horn does all magic damage - no physical damage at all. It probably was the magic effect which stun locked you. Did you have any magic protection on at all such as MB or GMB? As soon as I see a MGS or Moonlight Horn I immediately increase my magic defense - if ur opponent had high intelligence one of those weapons can be very dangerous especially if your inherit magic defense is not up to par (as compared to the weapon's magic damage).
I do not toy around when fighting against either of those weapons.

I think int weapons (namely MLGS and MLBH) are overpowered. Everytime I see one of these weapons my heart sinks a little. When I see both I feel like I should just stfu and switch to an int toon. And then I just stay dex anyway.

Indeed I had no magic defense. Thought poise would protect me against everything, thanks for the tip, now I will take great magic barrier with me

I think it means you get caught in the animation of successive chained hits (combos), and they finish you.

honestly are they that bad? I may be newish to pvp, but I've had some good fights with my int toon (guilty of dualwielding both of the aforementioned weapons), and I have fought them as well, granted they hit hard and the pressure they put on an opponent is good, but it doesn't seem to be on par with a dedicated stunlock weapon, I have been beaten by people wielding claymores more than the MLGS, maybe I'm just not getting something, or perhaps I'm biased since I use them too, or maybe I'm missing something?

I dunno. Maybe its because I was playing with a character at SL150, and they piled all their stats available onto int, so one hit from a MLGS took 1/3 of my health. The range on both these weapons are pretty long too, with the MLGS being able to stun, and the butterfly horn with high speed, long range pokes. I was exaggerating saying that they're overpowered, but they're deifinitely some of the top weapons out there, and the numbers one and two for an int toon. Combined? Even a good PvPer will have some trouble if you know how to use them.
