I feel very sad when I kill the undead merchant, oh little Yulia. And the Darkmoon Knightess, oh she made me cry so much . I had to kill her once because there was her, 2 darkmoons and a dark wraith in my world. But now, when I kill Gwyndolin, I just avoid her.

In all my playthroughs, I've never been able to bring myself to kill the blacksmiths. Also I don't even talk to Laurentius after Blightown because I hate lying to him!

Funny fact: In every character I had, I never let Laurentious or Griggs go hollow. They are the only ones to survive before I kill gwyn. They should be like the first ones to dies but they're so awesome

I usually kill them when im like 1000/2000 souls off just for level ups or upgrades i need lol

I keep the Npcs around until they lose usefulness. Then I slaughter them.

its not skyrim. the npcs are put there to die not get all their helth back after hitting them

No. No NPC that you can talk to have ever been mercied by pity. Only one Boss has done so, but that is it. As well, that pity and empathy of killing that boss is now gone (Crossbreed). As it were, these digital things are digital, and are respawned once more after NG+, or a new character. They are just bottles with humanity, and tools used by me to obtain my goal of victory.

Coincidentally I just slaughtered every NPC in my game since I was going into new game plus. When I got to the princess I laughed because a few of the signs on the floor said "Need head" or *Use both hands* XD. Such a shame to have killed her, I'll miss her bewbz.
