    Hello, everyone!

    Once again, I'm here trying a new build and I want some opinions!

    I'm curious to know, if i took my club +15 and buffed with poison resin would poison build up get amplified? This would be killer, but something tells me it won't work. I'll be using poison darts and dung for anything ranged.

    Edit: Also wanted to know if the ascended flame grants a more potent mist. Thanks!

    • Buffing this weapon with Rotten Pine Resin
      will not double its poison power, since they don't stack, but it will
      double the build-up power. This means that only half the amount of
      attacks is needed to inflict the poison status, compared to a unbuffed
      version.

    Buildup is magnified to about 90 per hit... making 2 hits enough to poison, with a poison power of 3 per second.
    Most opponents die after 3 hits with a Large Club, so reducing the hits necessary to 2 makes the poison more likely to make a difference.

    With that extra boost from rotton reisen it looks like this will make a cool build! I wish you could use rotton pine on the gravelord sword lol.

    I only got killed by poison once. It was like a 7 minute fight. I was poisoned by the knives and my opponent just kept healing himself and kicking me. Your tactic sounds better!

    You'll need to hit them twice in rapid succession for this to work though!

    Great suggestion, Fed! I'll do a suicide run into Cata to grab the sword early! This build could rock both these weapons!

    That would actualy be optimal. The club does poison ticks of 3... and the Poisoned Knives do ticks of 4.

    Yeah, hopefully its not expected, =P. Rynn, do you happen to know if the ascended flame boosts the potency of the mists?

    I am under the belief that the rank of the pyromancy hand has no positive nor negative effects on mist pyromancies. I shouldn't be quoted on that though.

    You don't have high enough toxic resistance with that armor to effectively use dung pies.

    Add the blood shield or gargoyle axe/halberd to solve that if you don't want to tweak the armor.

    If you want the best possible toxic/poison resistance for using dung pies add in some gold hemmed set, although Painted guardian is the best for dung pies.

    My toxic build wears full guardians, it's funny.

    Just take the extra weight on the build, and invade with both shields out. Simply throw dung pies before combat.
