DARK SOULS TOURNAMENT!

You can be invaded while inside the boss area, just only by wraiths like you said. The only way to not get invaded at all is to initiate the boss fight. I'm ok with a small area, but the one he chose is VERY small. I was not able to load the video before i made my build, now i know im at a clear disadvantage. Honestly t-king with an ultragreatsword and a small area you will fair pretty well for yourself

When i started my build i noticed something, how the hell did you get on the otherside of that first fog gate?I could not remember/think of a way to get into the undead burg area w/o passing through that fog gate.

The arena should be small.

I thought the banning of aoe's was ridiculous and absurd until I saw the arena.

If we picked a bigger arena I would want aoe's back but I doubt that is happening.

To awnser your bottom question about getting into the burg the otherway.. Masterkey. go to new londo ruins open locked door take the long side around mountain where the blue dragons are, go to the forest, go all the way back to the burg. there ya go. and i think wyrm will be at the biggest advantage with his spear. (at the blight pit ive always had a hard time beating wyrm because the arean was fairly small and with the spear he used being so long i had almost no room to breath). And the arena this torny is taking place in is like 30% smaller than the btown pit. but, i have never been darkrathed at the boss area before? when i was in the boss arena i have never been invaded by anything ever. not even by the darks :/

Oh yea, didnt think of that lol. Theres really no reason to do that, besides this i guess. Idk that spear is good, and obviously you can attack from behind your shield. I dont care if we have it there, cause its just for fun. I do think if we do this again we should use the spot i previously mentioned. The underground area you use if the main gate to the undead parished is closed(by the first armored boar). You rarely get invaded there, and even if you do you would have the major advantage of being somewhere the invader would need to climb two sets of ladders just to get to us. Its also a decent sized area, but not too huge.


Edit: It honestly is a really good area to pvp, im surprised more people dont use it. I was going to suggest either that or the wyvern bridge as possible FC locations.

Tarkus- I don't think I'll be able to poke you safely down there, the area is so tiny that I can be hit by your greatsword easily. I'm scared by that greatsword. :pale:

Pretty confident in saying that it isn't buffable. Though I'm no pro with the Artorias stuff. Though, despite it being a boss sword, it's at its core a regular weapon, all physical damage, no splits probably should be buffable.

It is not buffable, nothing that has anything other than '-' in Intelligence, or Faith scaling can be buffed.

Its not buffable believe me. I played 250 hours on my first playtrought using this sword. Lot of pvp.

Technically you can buff any weapon including your fist if you want

I tried buffing the Dragon Fist, but it glitched really badly, so I couldn't do it = (.

The dragon bone fist can be buffed legitimately. I was talking about a glitch.

too late, once your avatar has been made everything is locked in, i learned that the hard way yesterday when i tried to shift some stats into dex for better damage

Any chance with enough interest the tournament could double from 8 to 16? Sounds like fun...came too late to the party though!

Hey wyrmhero1954 and iron tarkus, ill change your stats for you since you are wearing the same gear. this way i dont have to re sketch a toon out for you, ya know, just plug in some numbers.

Just be honest with me and use that build you send me. Im trying to make his fair as possible so everyone knows everyones build.

@Fed: It's not like the arena is a game breaker but we were just offering some suggestions for a bit bigger arena. But im sure the tourny will still be in the same place and im fine with that, its not something ill quit the competition over.
