You wouldn't be able to buff your WP with your Tali in your right hand.

You can squeeze out one extra point by going bandit. A spear in the offhand can be odd. I have one build like it and never use my sword cause Im always hitting with the spear. Keep the weapons arranged as they are ro you cant buff as Pendant said. You could drop 2 vit dor another 2 attunement and grab a second WoG if you want.

That if you can use your weapons well you'll never ever lose. Ever. You out reach, out damage and swing faster than most everything between those 2 weapons.

An armor adjustment, if I may. Not much but no stat changes necessary and a defense bonus.

If we're doing armour adjustments, using steel armour would bring his poise past 77

Doesn't need to be. 76 is the ugs cut off. Unless he gets past 80 or 90 for an extra katana hit or 112 for an extra greatsword hit, more wouldn't do much.

^. Knights for his weapons. Imo anyways, I don't like steel for any weapon that couldn't be used to total a truck.

Hate to run into this build. If you play it right, and you can avoid BS, it's hard to lose.

In my opinion drop the DSS. Washing Pole has good enough range.

I've been destroying people with this build for a long time.

I have less vita and less endurance than you yet I have more life/stam
The higher magic adj from 40 faith/Darkmoon talisman will make your DMB and WoTG hit harder.
Iaito and washing pole usually stun most players after 3 hits and usually its fast enough to get those off before some of those heavy hitters can stunlock you.
I'm trying to copy this build but with a Washing Pole right now just still working out the stats.

You know what would make an awesome build. Heavy armor,Pinwheel mask, and Dwgr. Maybe just pump vit and use elemental or go faith, yea that sounds like an awesome build. :|

Can you guys seriously tell me you are not completely bored of these builds? Or is it just kind of a "if you cant beat em, join em" kinda thing?

I'm not impressed or intruiged by it by any means, but it's still effective.

If the player is good, I find no build boring. If the player sucks, every build is boring.

Been a while since I made a build, so here you go. It is one of the 'Base Requirement' builds that are all the rage this days. It uses 50 Faith to get two different buffs, but an alternate version is possible that uses 50 Intelligence. Rather than giving you the a Katana, I thought you might have better success with the Silver Knight Sword. It is a weapon that has very good base damage, which makes it very viable for this style of play. Given in addition is a set of armour that hits 62 poise to take 2 two-handed Katana hits, and provides a reasonable set of resistances. You have been provided a +5 Chaos Composite Bow so that you can lay on pressure effectively should you opponent back away, and you don't want to apply your second buff immediately. You've been given a Crest Shield as well, since it provides a great set of resistances, and a fair amount of stability.

The Silver Knight Sword moveset provides good range, and variety. Most importantly for a buffed build, it can dead-angle. The weak attack of all Straight Swords can actually do an unblockable attack, but this is out of reach for new players; it lacks the stagger, and ease of use to back up the unblocked hit. When using the one-handed attack, it is intuitive enough, but the two-handed attack requires you to face almost perfectly away, and turn with very good timing. Some practice will let you get the odd hit through an opponents block, which they are almost certain to have up when facing a buffed weapon. Not only that, the one-haned strong attack follow-up is quite easy to dead-angle with, but you need to make sure your target is within range. Often, you'll be using the one-handed initial strong attack as a safe poke, so to get this dead-angle, you must be focused on seizing the rare chance that might occur. The one-handed running attack can dead-angle a strafing opponent, but that is rare in higher levels of PvP; you can't count on it being a dead-angle. The two-handed roll attack, and strong attack both possess great range, and should be used in conjunction with the one-handed strong attack to lay on pressure. Remember to use your kick on parry hounds. Other than that, don't be afraid to use your Wrath of the Gods to finish off opponents.

To the idea that builds that use heavy armour, Pinwheel masks, or DWGR boring, you must note that these are optimal choices. However, if you are confident in your abilities, then by all means remove the armour, mask, and ring. When designing a build, there is no reason not use the best gear, and choices available; it will be up to the user to make his decision on how to have the most fun with what's provided. There are a ton of different hats that weigh the same as the Mask, should the user not want to use them, there are different rings to choose from if they don't want to be flipping, and many different armour choices if they want less poise.
