I think that's why we see so many Dex or elementals builds. Str builds hybrids are hard to make for SL 120. The main reason is the ridiculous weight of Str weapons.

Drop the armor! Poise sucks but... stats are fantastic + you will stunlock any katana user before they stunlock you

I was thinking of having +62 poise to resist 2 kats/spear attacks, because the DGM is so slow it might not win in a battle of R1 spammage of spear/kat vs DGM, if the opponent has 77 poise of course, which is commom. 53 poise would be minimum for fightning MLGS/Claymores.

You realise 1 point to end from vit and an armor swap is all I did? 76 poise, 2000+ hp.

kk, I would choose the 2nd build I suggested then bro You don't require 76 because you shouldn't get hit by UGS - you can always 1h and parry a UGS swing

Yeah, I don't need 76. Forum I know what you did but I hate the Havel's leggings, even though they're very useful. The main goal is to have 50 faith, but that would mean sacrificing Vit or Poise. I'm preferring Vit as of late.

This one is cool, except I like to stop at 40 Faith if I'm using Grant or another faith based weapon.

I always believed it was 52 poise for resisting a hit from a GS before xD it tended to work most of the time also xD

I guess I have to sacrifice Poise. For me, 31 poise is enough, but that's when I'm using a Dex weapon. I always try to adjust my poise depending on the weapon I'm using.

Seems wyrm is going for 2 curved / kat hits as opposed to greatsword jason. and as for the original stated goals this just makes them assuming the +62 is inclusive of 62.

also bear in mind that if 1 hit causes 31 points of damage the threshold for 2 hits is probably 60/61 considering the time between swings.

Damn, I created a nice looking 64 poise one Y u no use the build!

Testing the build right now with 31 poise / 40 End, SL 98. The build is easily defeated by spears, much as I predicted.... Attacks are interrupted, and it's not easy to stunlock due to low poise. Roll backstabs get easily through.

Strength weapons man. if you want to move slow you need to be able to shrug off a meteor or two. low poise wont cut it.

why the dgm? try a greatsword (the ugs one) its 6 pounds lighter with a more easily usable r2.

Because I have a crush with the demon weapons sparkly.
