Unable to Ascende Pyromancy Flame

Hi Guys,

I have a question,

About the pyromancy Flame , i talk to Quelana in Blighttown after reach Upgraded 15 and i was unable to ascend to the next level. I am doing anything wrong, because in the wiki explain that you have only to find her and do the upgrade.

Did you go to Modify Equipment instead of Reinforce Weapon?

yes , i go to modify and there is no equipment avaliable to do this, only to downgrade the flame to 15 to 0. this is my second time that have this problem. may be i need to kill a boss or reach certain part of the game ?

Are you switching to the right tab?

the right tab is for acend or downgrade because for me seens to be downgrade because shows with no number:
from Pyromancy Flame+15 to Pyromancy Flame

Ah, see that is the right thing. If yuo press square you'll notice that the nmag adjust actually goes up! You're making your "pyromancy flame +15" an "ascended pyromancy flame +0". Its the right thing to do.

Total derp. That's what I get for assuming I knew how it worked and not bothering to read up on it.

On the plus, I've been working on a SL 1 run for the first time, and this is going to help me out. I used pyromancy to completely take down smough, and about 2/3rds ornstein's health... (8 GCs and 16 Cs). Turns out it I probably could've done the whole thing before running out of casts if I fully upgraded.
