Stray Demon NG+ Orange "Target" On Piller

i returned to fight the stray demon and after the battle was over he had smashed all the pillers in the room and while i was geting ready to leave i saw an orange target esk thing on the second row of pillers tward the ladder on the middle piller level with the torces it is very hard to miss i dont know what it is or why it was there but i died and the pillers came back and the target was no longer i was thinking this could be some kind of secret thing to do or maybe there are more in the fights where the bosses can break the pillers im not sure but thought i would share due to the fact that google lead to nothing

i wanted to use Zelda logic and shoot it with a fire arrow but i didnt have any

so if someone could conferm this orange target thing or find out what it does plez reply here

I have a toon that's right at the stray demon, I'll check if I can make something of this. Should be home in an hour or so!

ok i guess some more info to where i was at in the story might be a good control i skiped the debths and shortcuted my way to gargoyals and quagula rung bothe bells and then went to fight him

Alright, just got to the asylum, if I find the target I'll get a picture. I also have my fire bow with me so I'll test your theory! =D

Sorry, I couldn't find a target. I let him kill me a couple times too just to make sure, but still nothing. I had him break all the pillars and and checked all remaining torch-pillar remnants and I find nothing. =/
