Gankers, you may find yourself asking - who is that berserk naked guy in the forest? Well, that would be me - TehInfamousAchu - yes, my father is the famous Sneeze and I fight alongside my buddy Blinken. Anyway - I can see the frustration on your face after killing me when you only receive 519 souls.

You may ask why this build fights for the Glory of Alvina and why it is such a low soul level - the exact reason is because it has a huge damage output whilst if suffering that infrequent defeat the ability to only give 519 souls to the targets of my wrath

The Tactics

As your crazy neighbourhood naked guy whats the least thing you expect? Yep, him to be a master tactician - anyway, as you can guess the wolf ring isn't actually equipped the majority of the time - I invade the forest with my Hyper mode pre-activated. The sanctus is used as a counteract to my PW, I will now deal almost 1000 damage with a single arrow shot at them. If they eventually do catch me they will find themselves at the end of a swift barrage of blows from my Pike or Flamberge - this surely will mean a hasty death for them. The disadvantage to this build is the fact that it will be OHKO'd every time, but with a damage output like that who will worry about it, I may infact at times lose the flamberge and equip the leo ring for crazy pike punishment

Your pissed paraplegic phantoms, I'm doubting they would stand for this... I'm not a counterfeit - any blows you throw I assure you I can counter those.

this is great for all the glitching gankers dude, nice one.

Remember to use poison arrows. When an opponent dodges a poison arrow, often you still hit the DoT, so within 3 misses, you'll poison them, and since stamina regen is dropped to 50% when this happens, it will make your life easier, and piss them off.

Haha, thanks - I just got fed up of it and thought I may aswell after running into that many glitchers pick a setup so if I lose that I give them barely any souls - and the maximum grief I can - I have already killed many a ganker with this build - I will need to go up two levels to wield the pike with the leo ring. that will mean I give 700 souls instead however it may be worth it for the almost OHKO with a counter hit xD

And Rynn - of course I run the poison arrows and poison knives until they are poisoned - then the fire arrows get equipped.

I only give them 1400 souls upon killing me, yet I've got access to 3 equally as deadly tactics... at the same time. I don't use PW however, I prefer to have infinite time to heckle my gankers within.

I have long enough to heckle them I have about 40 seconds to deal with them and normally I have beaten the gankers by then - especially on this build, I also don't need to employ the PW, I can run the max hp and run PW until I hit RTSr standard which gives me 150 seconds to kill them, and the PW will have faded by then anyway so I will do reasonably well against them

I use a level 10 build in the forest all the time. It's actually my current favorite. I actually get hatemail from 120+ when I beat them. Sure I get one shotted occasionally but it when you kill a pair of gankers for 100K souls it is so worth it.

I usually just run around until they seperate and pick them off one by one. And when they occasionaly manage to kill me I can almost see their rage after they chase me around for 5 min, and get 500 souls. It's fn priceless.

I might raise it up 2 levels and start doing that. I'd only increase my soul value to 1600 by getting the spell, while improving the danger I pose.

Aye, you would likely be able to 2HKO or OHKO some people if the RTSr is also procced.

it is nice but the lightning on the comp is a waste, you would be better off with chaos - anyway, I like the idea however I would probably rather use something different to the Zwei - ideally you could actually run something like the GS? http://tinyurl.com/6owndp6

Sanctus seems like a waste, you'll die in one hit anyway.

Also, leo ring only effect physical damage so it might help that much here.

I'm actually good with the Zwei, I can dead angle and such with it.
I would normally agree that the lightning is a waste, but when the RTSR activates, even with the 3 damages being split 3 ways, it does more damage then chaos.

And the sanctus, my dear friend, is to counteract the PW, so we may fight longer.

Indeed, but considering that if you get hit once you're dead anyway... actually no, I suppose it makes sense as a forest hunter.

Lingering dragoncrest ring + sanctus = gaining health instead of losing...

Getting hit does not matter. Without the Sanctus, PW kills us in 20 seconds.
With sanctus, it takes 40.

No, with lingering it does not.
I had a Lingering + Dusk Crown build before, to drop my HP to 240 max. The thing is, Sanctus recovered 2 HP every 2 seconds, and Lingering dropped PW to loosing 2 HP every 1.5 seconds... it doesn't add up.

Question, have you considered using a second Sanctus so that until you reach the target, you can deflect more damage?

I'm curious to understand how you guys have so much success with these status effect tools.

I poison nearly every person i dual against with my poison arrows...

Easily... you see, the average player only has 100-150 poison res, which is 3-4 hits rapidly in a row. Poison Knifes are difficult to predict, so you can often get 1 hit with them off, taking the 70 buildup, then fire an arrow for an extra 50 buildup.

Bleed weapons still inflict bleed buildup when you dodge, and so does poison. The difference is, Bleed is completely negated if you block the blow it procs on. Poison is not.
