Seems like the burg is the place to dual. 9 out of 10 there are no gankers. What's your favorite places?

You'll almost always be up against gankers in the forest. Though I haven't seen much action in the burg lately.

I say it because it's where I hang out when I seek some random PvP duels.

Probably the "MOST" consistent place.

But it is by no means a paradise either.

For the past 5 days I have been getting a lot of Japanese players in berg around 3am EST. And during the day I get a lot of good duals there too. Seems like people there are more about the dual then the gank. Some phantom vs Phantom too.

120, watch out for high level players. I fought a SL 256 host who was getting very high SL players.

I'm invading now with my 120. Might see ya and we can dual. How do the servers work? I sometimes have to shut my system off just to find a dual and sometimes I can get them one after another for a good while.

There are no servers, just people "close" to you. Without servers it's rare that we find each other unless we wait for our networks to "connect", hence why sometimes you need to wait for the summon signs to appear when you are trying to summon friends and the such.

I figured we bounced between servers for summoning and duals.

The burg is generally the best place for duels, although I've noticed a lot of "cleverly" disguised ganks involving phantoms behind the door, phantoms hiding on rooftops, the host calling you down to fight a red phantom, then BS'ing you while you bow, and then sometimes there's just your run of the mill gank squad. This is all pretty rare although, I've noticed that later at night, around 1am PST, it becomes much more prevalent. Also I agree with Carphil, demon ruins is a great place to invade, although sometimes you will find the exasperated pve'er who will just run away and turn off their PS3/Xbox.

New londo ruins is agreat place to invade mostly 3v1's but they are usually questers so its not a typical gank, and teh catacombs are really fun to invade

It's completely subjective. All the PvP hotspots come with their own "style" of PvP. If you're into what you see in the Burg, hang out there. I'm personally a little worn out on it.

Course I do. Best spot in the whole damn game to invade.

I'm a bit worn out on the Burg too. Catacombs, Sen's, and Anor Londo can also be a lot of fun. Of course, they also all come with their own set of complications.

I've been hosting in Anor on my SL80 version of my dual wielder. Doing some invading here and there. A lot of fun, but nothing beats the Cats.

Best for 1v1? I think so, yes.

The reason you see less gankers there, is because they have not figure out how to skip the Taurus demon. But some are learning, so be careful.
I myself like to host there. so it's always a 1v1 situation. UNLESS we can to a 4 player free for all, those are the best haha.

Catacombs is by far the funnest place to invade...I have had my 55 down there for awhile and having a blast!!
