Mass Farming

I started late last night around 11:15 P.M. Central time zone. Im now finished my farming in the Forest and its now 12:26 A.M. (I didn't do this all in one sitting just to add).

Im up to 17.1 million souls now. I would farm the forest npc people all day while listening to Zed's Dead. And a few times my friend would let me sit behind the scenes and kill people in the forest. (Doing that gave me about 9 mil souls on it's own)

With all of the farming I boosted from level 77 to level 193 and on made me able to buy the magics I wanted.. My big fail though is that I still can't use Soul Spear.



I know there's people that beat the game without even leveling but I feel this is probably as good as it gets for me right now in this game.

No, I said sat behind the scenes. I got souls for just being around and the invader dying.

Is the game too tough or are you just getting bored of it?

Eve was acting as ref. Nothing wrong as long as you don't interfere with a duel.

The game isn't too hard, I was farming on my own before playing with my friend. I wanted to be able to use sorceries before going to Anor Londo but I messed up my stats early on and put almost majority of them in strength and endurance. I literally was only at 9 intelligence before I farmed. So I started the mass farming to get to use sorceries.

Oh I understand. Maybe you can start a new toon? Seems like alot, but being that you're where you are you could run through the bells and such. =D

I can guarantee I wont have the luck I had so far in terms of items again. Plus the trades I managed too, it might be lazy to some but I just can't do all of that again. I only leveled, but my gear isn't boosted either though. Im still using the glod hemm set with Hunter boots. And im using a +1 Dark Knight Halberd and a izalith catalyst that I traded a furysword for. I got the furysword from a drop an invader gave me.

Never know until you try! =P Admittedly I've felt like this plenty of times, like right now I would love to give a crossbow run a try, but feel super lazy about grinding. =/

I MIGHT make another character after I beat the game with this one but after I beat this game im playing Demons. I still find the game hard in some areas and still have goals to reach like getting my witch clothes finally and getting my moonlight spear.

And I voted down since the one post made it seem like I was trying to boast some negative actions.

Good old Demon's! Its been so long since I player DeS. Anyhow, I hope you're able to build the sorcery toon you desire! =D

If you wanna level up really quick, just become a forest hunter and invade none stop. In 3 days' time I shot from 90 to 280 from just straight pvp victories.

I hate to be the one but if you want to keep essential gear or get Knight's Honor the bb glitch is always an option. It's not really all that game breaking as many might say too.

+1 OP for coming up with a better idea than me for farming souls... I also wanted to use sorcery. So I just farmed souls by hosting solo in the forest. They ganged up on me waaaay too much. So I eventually summoned one guy because I was tired of having a 2 v 1. 2v2 seemed fun. I still didn't get very many souls because I had the same 2 a-holes invade me.. one with a dragon bow glitch, another with a huge club and sunny D buff. gosh, I've never seen so much bs fishing. Can't defend against 2 guys fishing the host for too long...

Anyway, idk why i didnt think of being the ref/guy who keeps the second invader occupied. The majority of my souls were farmed from killing the npc's every time I died. And I died a lot.

I find going through multiple NG+'s is the way to go. It's really fun, really. I'm gonna get everything I need within a few more NG's and some soul farming.

Thats literally what my friend said to me about forest invading, but if you saw my gear id just be giving away humanity which is why I sat behind the scenes. I wasn't even close enough to be known I was really around. And I seen enough youtube to know even with good gear id just be giving humanities away. He died a HUGE amount of times and I gave up a pretty big stock of my humanites to him for his help.

And for me it would kinda be a waste of time to BB glitch since this is my only character so far and I haven't even beaten the game. My strongest weapon is a +1 Dark Knight Halberd.. :\

And to upgrade those, go kill all the crystal lizards you can. Each one gives at least 1 twinkling titanite. You'll get your BKHalberd to +5 in no time

Actually, you could go for either the Gravelord Servant Sword or the server. Both are really good early weapons (server is early on shut up) and the server can go on multiple paths.

Server is BEST fire. Acidic knows this. You can trust him haha! If it's anything he knows, it's the Server... and lore.

Plus, the description changes if you make it fire or chaos. I think that's a clue that the Server does better damage as fire.

I have been using it as fire +10 for over a whole playthrough now on my PvE toon. So much fun

Really, though, just grab all the weapons, look at the movesets, and choose what you like best.

Elemental katanas or claymore are fanatical early on.

or the original Halberd. Hmm. I like that weapon.

Sooooo.... Your going to end up with a character around 220~ with balanced out stats? >_> look at my fire demon, he's my forest hunter. I can essentially use ANYTHING to it's full potential.

You may as well set this toon up as your gear tester, since you've already balanced out your physical damage stats past the diminishing returns.
