You can make ghetto fireworks! Just get a bunch of flammable stuff and chuck it into the fire, see how good they burn/explode!

There is a very strict fire ban colorado, basically the only flame that's allowed is a lighter or a cooking appliance.

I'm usually not about government regulating the fun of the people but in this case I think that I side with the authorities. Seeing what's been going on in your state - from afar, admittedly - is scary. Best not to chance it.

There was a topic about how forest hunters stay sane, it was concluded that we dont. I think that covers it.
there are also some other household products you can use to make cool coloured flames if I remember correctly (metal powders are good I think..) its the propulsion and ignition systems I see an issue with. gota be careful homebrewing fireworks...

Exactly, it's insanely dry here and a cinder even could lite up my house. I laugh at this, because 2 summers ago one of the yearly California wildfires was a mile from my house. THAT is when you start freaking out about fire.
Though the ash is a massive problem, so do stay in shelter.

Yeah, evacuating sucked BIG cajones. Luckily the worst we had to deal with was some coyotes deciding to use our yard as a peacock buffet. So many feathers :shock:

I love rainy weather, except we have to sacrifice a virgin each year to get it and this year we couldn't find a legal one.
