Question in the Fortress Empty Question in the Fortress

Post by ParasiticEve Mon Jul 02, 2012 6:55 pm

If there's a forum to ask questions can someone add it to a reply, I personally don't think this needed a forum to ask this question.

Can someone tell me if the titanite demons in Sens Fortress comes back at all? Im trying to get more demon titanite for the moonlight spear. I dont have it yet but im going to get it when I can finally make it.

titanite Demons never respawn (unless you beat the game obvi), but there is one in Anor Londo and in the Catacombs and I think there are Demon Titanites you can simply find throughout Lordran. I'm not sure if Crystal Lizards drop them. Can anyone confirm this?

They are hard to come by though so its a good thing you know what you want to put them towards. I saved a bunch for the Lifehunt Scythe and fully upgraded it not knowing that it also caused bleeding damage to me. I was very disappointed. Good luck!

The red titanite Demon in Lost Izalith respawns & drops 2 titanite each time .,

but you can find some more demon titanite in chests earlier on , after you've beat Sen's

Trying to kill it with melee is almost harder than killing Gwyn. It pushes me off the ledge all the time, It’s the true boss in Izalith not BoC.

    New plan.
Bleed it out with a lifehunt scythe, as a dragon.

Be careful when you're down there and going to the alcove on the side. There is one around the corner, but there is another one further back. I was not careful and ended up aggravating both of them. So many souls were lost that day Prostration

@Billy: I think I've done it to the one in Anor Londo. Just gotta literally stick to his left-rear.

Crystal lizard don't drop them. And yes, I died a lot of times farming the Lost Izalith one. Did anyone noticed that he has much more HP, the lightning he shoots is kinda orange instead of yellow (sunlight spear, great lightning spear reference?)

The only good thing about him is that he is blind and deaf, he will only notice if you gets really really close

Magic is very effective, 5 great lightning spears, 4 fireballs, 3 or 4 CSS is enough

I hate farming the Izalith demon in NG+. If his jump hits me head on, it comes close to one-shotting me with 1800 HP, it's just insane how much damage that guy does. I can tank him using Artorias' greatshield and the BKGA, but it's a big relief when he finally goes down. And I need to do it five times to get enough to upgrade one weapon.

Yay, another bow user! It's the only way I've been able to take out these titanite monkeys. The one in Lost Izalith that respawns is a great way to increase your supply of demon titanite if you go through the short cut because it's back is to you initially, although you'll have to be ready to dodge back behind the wall at the start of the walkway when it uses the lightning attack. If you're really brave, you can creep up on it (Ring of Fog equipped) and three shot it with The Avelyn.

Did you try checking the wiki first? A lot of questions can be answered there.

I use a bow on him too. Hawk ring + feather arrows + black bow of pharis, and come up behind him from the shortcut. Just stand behind some rubble and shoot him in the tail (which is closer to you than his body if you come in from the shortcut) and you'll kill him fairly fast. He'll stagger occasionally but never turn around.

While you're up there, you can also kill a lot of the undead dragon bits in the lava below, if you haven't gone through that part yet.

That combination is lethal. With that set up you can also kill the Taurus, Capra and Flame Jar demons in the Demon Ruins with impunity. From Kirk's invasion point (roughly) you can damage the Capra Demon all the way down to the side of the stairs by Firesage. In NG I poisoned him and then wrecked the others one while he just sat and died.
