    Well, I've been taking a sabbatical in Skyrim for a month or so because I had become disenchanted with Dark Souls. I wasn't doing at all well. A clear case of familiarity breeding, not contempt, but failure, so I quit.

    Then, the other day, Shakie666 posted a link to a YouTube video, which made me laugh so much (see 'Funniest Dark Souls Video on YouTube) and it reminded me of me in the early stages (not the swearing, but my sheer ineptitude) and made me realise how far I'd come on my personal Dark Souls journey, so last night I started playing again. The rest, as they say, is history, I'm loving Dark Souls all over again and, like the title of this thread, it's good to be back! cheers

    Not too long....just recently beat my first playthrough happy. Mainly because i cant stop making diff characters, believe it may be a disorder or something....

    I know, that's why it was a friendly statement rather than a "hey you idiot" reply. I knew it because Slake and I have haunted a lot of the same threads but unless it's specifically stated you would have no way of knowing.
