I think my favorite has to be 3-1, for all the reasons mentioned above. BP Mindflayers still terrify me, even though I returned to DeS with DkS knowledge and can bring them down easily, I'm still scared :dung:less whenever I hear their bell.

your logic confuses me Dark > Demons? what madness. Anyway I would have to say I like the entirety of 1 (Boletaria Castle), and all of 3 (Tower of Latria)

I'd have to say I enjoyed 3-2 the most I loved the design and going into the swamps at the bottom of the level.

As a whole my favorite world is World 1. As a single place/section of a world, it would be 3-1.

World 1 is good, especially 1-3.
World 2 is meh, didn't really like 2-2, but the boss fight is good and you can take the shortcut.
World 3 is meh, and I think people over rate it. 3-1 and 3-2 are really confusing first time through, but I'm always up for some Maneater fights.
World 4 is my favourite for actual level design. Shame the bosses are pushovers.
World 5 is like World 3 but with worse boss battles. I just want to be out of there ASAP.

I'd say 4-3, the Storm King area. It's quite amazing, overlooking the ocean, with the ruins around. When you're not constantly getting shot at by Storm Beasts, you can actually see some real beauty in the area.
