New Game +

I just finished the game last night, made light work of Gwyn Lord of Cinder (I think it was Gwyn) automatically started new game + and am back at the Firelink Shrine after killing the Asylum Demon in a heartbeat first time with my Lifehunt Scythe +4 and GSoA +2

Now the question is, is there ANYTHING NEW or ANY NEW AREA'S that become playable/accessible this time around, I started New Game + in Demons Souls and already at Boletari (down to the left hand side gate that was locked) made my way around and up where I found that Witch NPC who tried to kill me and got cool new items..

Is there anything like that this time or is it exactly the same again?

Deciding whether to start a new Character, this time a Pyro or Mage etc

I play offline with no PVP or anything, just purely single player! I know bla bla bla it takes away from the hole experience etc, its just what I prefer

Nothing new. Basicallt every enemy has around x3 hp, x3 damage and x3 souls dropped. Thats it.

Yeah you get that if you beat him the first try. Even on NG. I'll leave it up to you to find out how

Yeah the hammer you get from him you can get in your first playthrough as well. You just have to kill him before getting your weapons.

i.e. With a broken sword or Black firebombs(gift)

I killed him in the first new game of course, then killed the Stray and the Firesage but never got the weapon, now in New Game + I got his weapon.. thats all I was saying...

So what I mean is that if I play this New Game would bosses like Seathe drop the Moonlight Greatsword 100% or not? As he did not drop it for me in the first instant?

@Raikan as in you know the first time he drops down and you have to run away? if you kill him then in NG, not when you get the dro pdown attack. For the bosses they wont dro ptheir stuff, you'll still have to cut off tails.

You have to cut off Seath's tail in order to get the MLGS. This holds true in regular NG or NG+2,000. If you just defeat him but do not cut off his tail all you will obtain is his lord soul, no tail.

yeah I thought so I took on Seathe with no Estus Flasks and beat him first time blind, had never seen the fight on Youtube etc.. I used 6 or 7 Humanity though but still, was awesome!

I just wanted to kill him! lol

Anyway, it's a shame, but there is no extra content in NG+ that I'm aware of.
I guess "More Deaths" are extra content, in the context of Dark Souls though.

Yeah you're talking about Miralda.

She is however reachable on a NG, no need to go NG+ to open that area.

Yeah Demon Souls have more meaning to go NG+ because of Boss Souls can be change to either Weapon, Spells, Miracles, or Armor..

I wonder why they took the formula out in Dark Souls?

Well, in order to get Gwyn's armor and weapon one does have to go into NG+.
