Time for a rant

So, as a Darkstalker i can deal with 3v1's and that very easily i can usually destroy them very quickly, ive recently started playing my very first toon who is SL484 i made im a forest hunter and thought id have a laugh, now the stats are all weird and the weapons are awful, havnt got anything upgraded properly and yeah,

anyways on to the rant, ive never spent much time as a forest hunter but after invdaing 10 different people all using teh exact same gear and set up i think i went insane, BKGA and a hornet ring oh and i also had triple vision cause all of them had 2 buddies who where the same, i know the forest is a badass lawless place, but HOW do you forest hunters stay sane if i ever see a MOMTROLLBKGA again i think i may cry!

Indeed., Forest gangbangers really love their Hornet Rings , greatswords & greataxes.

You would think that if the odds are allready in their favor because it's a 2vs1 , they really would not need the Hornet Ring to be succesfull, shows how ignorant or childish these people really are.

I usually don't invade Alvina's forest that often , but I did for a couple of hours straight , during the forest invasion event , and you are definitely right ;

Most off em are full Havel's or Giant's with masks , GSes with HR's and a lot of slow running fat rollers.

But The worst guys are always the ''Mech-Warrior'' ones ,

wearing Smough's leggings with a smaller lighter chestpiece along with the MoM , they just look ridiculous !

Their tears make our roots stronger

i aint got a problem with beating them thats easy enough, but its just MIND NUMBING!!!! i know many dedicated forest hunters and i say huzzzaaa to those fine warriors they are the elite, but if i had to do this constantly i would go hollow in a day!

I said this before, but i hosted forest today for about an hour solo, both sides of the forest suck. I was solo and every single time i was invaded by at least 2 forest hunters and sometimes a DW. Not a single time did they fight me 1vs1. Instead of BKGA and hornets they had 12 casts of wrath and hornets. The forest is full of people who think it requires skill to just get a quick easy kill on people. Everytime i was able to kill 1/2 of the 2/3 invaders that were all rushing me i would just demolish the remaining one. I would say a majority of them literally just cant win a legit 1vs1, nothing wrong with that i guess. The amount of TWOP+WOG i witnessed was just sad. I would always just run, but sometimes one of them would get a backstab or i would backstab one of them and as that animation was occuring they would twop and catch me in it. There really isnt a good way to deal with 2/3 people while not being able to roll and getting blasted by wrath. If there is a way i would like to hear it.

Do yourself a favour. There are over a dozen other locations. Sometimes it is best to search for PvP in other locations. For two vs two, maybe kill some people and be incited, in order to get Darkwraiths and Darkmoon invaders at once. Add a PvP partner, and you have 2vs2.

awwh come on! sometime after the 80th hour it becomes violently addictive (or maybe it was the 100th? they all seem to blur together...)

ill keep the darkstalker stuff going its more fun

Nothing compares to the satisfaction of running a 3v1 host out of estus. only done it once but I was jumping around afterwards

maybe, but i gotta say invading in the catacombs and new londo is a thrill ive yet to beat!
