    So I finally decided to try my hand at a pyromancy build, i've already started the character but this is where I would like to end up. All opinions welcome! The build is based around a constant barrage of pyro spell while still being able to take a few hits. The chaos Swag sword is for when/if I run out.

    Drop the clorathy ring, put on Havel's/RoFaP for armour giving you 13 poise and replace the combustions with GF or GCF.

    Whatever you can give will help! Although i've read what i can on here. I'm slowly learning to fight unlocked and through watching videos i'm learning to aim and trick players with fireballs.

    Yeah thats the main one, never throw a fireball with lock on, you wont hit. You an also replace your GFs with GCF occassionally, use the lava to your advanatge. GCs are really good BS punishes, if some one is fishing for one lock off and use a GC to get them. With the firestorm you may actually want tempest, Im not sure which is better, but remember either use it when you're hidden, around corners and such, or use the mist to obscure what you're doing.

    That and talk of the new dragon roar exploit are the main reasons i put toxic mist as one of my spells. I've always been intrigued by the swamp pyromancies. Can't wait to level my character mostly so i can get my egg head.

    Smart. Against a machine gunner the mist could let you get off the firestorm long enough to stun them with a firestorm. Against a roarer though you'll have to get them along the very edge of the storm/get some good GF throws.

    Make sure you really pay attention to the order of your pyro spells when you're organizing your slots. For example, an awesome combo is a couple Fire Surge bursts into GFB, since the initial animation looks virtually the same. It'll fool some players. Probably the most devastating combo is to toss a GCFB, then Fire Whip through the lava where it's hard to see, and then GC if the Fire Whip connects or they try to BS punish it. If you've got the Dragon Crest ring and Dusk Crown you can kill 'em in about five seconds if all three connect.

    The point is while you're casting phase one of your tactic, you want to toggle to the next spell so there's no downtime between them and you wont get lost in your attunement menu. So for that setup, you'd want to go Fire Surge, GFB, GCFB, Fire Whip, GC, and then maybe Tempest, in that order. Organizing your attunement slots like this makes all the difference.
