I'll try to beat DKS at SL 10

I usually beat my first playtroughs around SL 90-100, but this time i'll try to beat it with this Sl 10 pyro/knight build...

i like the moveset from the claymore and what the pyro gloves can offer me without putting any SL in any stats, the armor and rings give me a nice poise + health and end (wich the shield helps a lot)

so what you guys think? is this a nice build to help me throug the game?

you should not have a single problem beating the game with that set up. I hope you plan on playing fresh and not bb glitching the lightning claymore, that just eliminates the point of a low lvl playthrough. I suggest trying to push yourself and do a sl1 playthrough. I suggest making a raw battle axe and using resins, until you can make an elemental(if you do a sl1). Do the same except with the claymore or bastard sword if you do the sl10.

i just used the bb glitch one time, to get the paladin set, i usually leave tomb of giants for last because i dont like dark places with skeleton dogs that 1HKO me :| ... so i glitched it i confess, but with my others build i dindt used it , but i liked the raw path with resins idea... thanks dude

No prob, wasnt trying to accuse you of using the glitch(i personally use it a lot for builds i will pvp with, just not low lvl). I was more just trying to convince that it can take the fun out of the game, you clearly understand that though. To get your raw weapon quickly farming the slugs in blighttown will get you lots of large shards and green shards(so you can actually make a raw weapon and a fire+5, if your willing to go in catacombs and blighttown early). Another underrated weapon for low lvl pve is the jagged ghost blade. If you can get lucky and get a drop for it(its not so good that its worth farming for hrs or anything). Do you plan on using the master key? I did on my low lvl playthrough, kinda regret it.

If you're a pyromancer, become a Chaos Servant because you receive the Great Chaos Fireball spell that can kill the skelley dogs with one cast.

If you give the 30 humanity to the covenant leader, you can open the shortcut to Izalith and get the Sunlight Maggot.

I dont have much problem in lost izallith, the shortcut wouldnt be thaaaat needed, and i usually do the lost izallith before tomb of giants. but thanks for the tips, kill the skelly dogs with one hit would be awesome kkkk thanks for the tips

Honestly, I think you could do this at SL5 without much more difficulty. 10 Vit, 12 Str instead of 11/16, and just two-hand the claymore whenever you're attacking with it. I think the claymore's one-handed attacks are too slow to be useful most of the time, and the extra damage (and especially poise damage) from two-handing lets you kill most enemies with ease. You can always switch back to one-handed when you need to use your shield.

If you think you might be interested in continuing on to NG+ and beyond, consider SL6 (or lower). There is a player covenant possibly forming called Infinity 6 for those who want to take Dark Souls challenges to a ridiculous extreme.

(For any interested you'll only have to beat NG+ at SL6 or less to join, but the further you can go the better!)

and I'd love to participate in low level PvE runs , but I am wondering about weapon upgrading restrictments and such.,

Im not sure , but wouldn't a lightning claymore make it still a bit of an ''easy mode''?

I haven't done it yet , Im thinking about a deprived playthrough without leveling too much , but using the regular club is pretty boring

Sooo - my Insane difficulty scavenger build on NG+++ at SL6 nekkid is fine for this?

@Yarxov - Just a problem with the build you linked, you didnt put any sl in attunement so i cant use any pyromance with the gloves :roll: and i prefer using the bow off hand and the gloves main hand for blocking proposes

I could try this build at SL 6

or this one at SL 1
