Silver Knights Vs Black Knights, Night(hurr hurr)

Ok, i hope people like this idea cause i think it sounds awesome. We did something similar with the starting classes, but i think this will end up working better. First off its exactly what it sounds like PvP with SKs and BKs, you choose your side. "Everyone will just be a black knight with a great axe".....Maybe, but i dont think so. Heres the rules:
PSN

1.Must be SL50 or under(a sl50 host would be required)
2.The armor set and shield must be visible with your choice of weapon(s).
3.No Dark Wood Grain ring
4.No Wolf ring

Allowed Silver Knight gear:SK armor set,SK shield,SK sword,SK spear,Dragon Slayer Bow

Allowed Black Knight gear:BK armor set,BK shield,BK great sword,BK Ultra Great sword,BK halberd,BK great axe.


I'm thinking most of us can make these builds in about a half hr, but not everyone bb glitches ext. So maybe set it in a week. Anyone who needs the gear and does not want to bb glitch, it can be supplied.

must have lightning spear? that thing sucks for pvp and for an sl 40 those are some very important points wasted.

Thats the point rant. Plus,since everyone will be mid/fat rolling i feel it will be more viable.Still,it's more of a way to balance things out. I was just going to have it at the lowest possible lvl that allowed a BKGA knight to mid roll.Thats the penalty for the BKGA, you are basically forced to fat roll. There may be a way but i couldnt figure it out with these rules in place. I was thinking of letting Silver Knights use the DSB, whatcha think? These rules are up for debate, but the whole point is for it to be balanced and i feel like these rules are pretty tight.

yea i know silver knight spear will be big.Black knight weapons do hit much harder,and everyone will have pretty low vit. Idk, maybe we should test it out a bit before we set the rules in stone. I'm thinking the area before the ceasless fog. Theres very low traffic, and that would mean we could involve a lot of people without too much worry.

well they do use it, you can med roll easy with an sl 40 with the bkga but i personally prefer the bkgs since the roll poke owns the bkga.

Way i see it, this will be just as fun with only SK but if you wanna be a badass BK you can.

Im so used to having 54 poise that i didnt even think of it, but BKs main advantage will be that they are able to stunlock. I guess SK could give up a ring and wear wolfs.

Why SL 40? BK weapons require high Str and their stamina and Vit will be lower than the SK.

Yeah 40 is too low. A Black Knight Halbred min stats are 32 Str and 18 Dex. Starting as a bandit with base Vit and end you can't wield it until 31. SL 40 limits the BKs too much

Though I like the idea, just think it should be SL 50 at least.

silver knight weapons require 22 dex,and most Bk weapons are better 2handed anyways(less str needed). Do you think the silver knights should require sunlight spear and not black knights? Do you guys think this would be unbalanced? I wasnt trying to go for making it easy to create a powerful build. This is basically all about what you can do with low vit&end, but with decent armor/weapons. Heres the most powerful build i could think up under these rules(BK stagger power should not be overlooked).

I originally had it at sl50, maybe your right. I just really wanted to have the BKGA not be able to mid roll, but i guess that is unfair. You only need to meet the dex and enough str to 2hand, even if its sl50 i think thats how a lot of people will make their builds.

I kind of like the lower SL idea, just not so much the forcing of players to use the Lightning Spear miracle.

I was worried because SKS is one of the most annoying weapons to fight against ever.

yeah the miracle thing i dont get but its gona be hard to make it balanced for everyone.

I think you guys are hyping the SKS a bit too much, with BK weapons you can stunlock and almost certainly kill them(remember you can tank their pokes with your poise). If a SK with a SKS wanted to fast roll this is what they would need to do http://tinyurl.com/75su3qr and thats if we dropped the miracle rule(which i personally like )

You forgot the Lightning Spear, but that's a viable build I would say.

@Fruit 50 poise only resist 1 poke.

Why do you guys think I'm using the Halbred? I want the range.

1 poke is enough to get a swing in and stunlock. Should we ban wolf ring? This will be a lot more balanced then any other pvp session lol.

I have never used the greatsword so I'm on for it.

Pokes are faster than swings so yes plz.
