Re: Dragon GreatSword
I'm not sure what you mean, no weapon does double damage on its second attack
there are varying factors in damage dealt though. say, if you stagger an opponent, you might do increased damage on the hit afterwards, if they ding off your shield, you might, as well as if you kick them first, you may do more damage
as for just doing double damage, not so much

Re: Dragon GreatSword
The only good thing about the Dragon Greatsword is the two-handed R2 force attack. Same with the Dragon Greataxe.

Well in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GF0o9MGLGbI
this guy does 150 300 500 700 damage is that just showing how much damage he has done all together and it just doesnt do that with the dragon greatsword or is he doing more each time?

Re: Dragon GreatSword
Jason,
Other weapons don't do double damage on their second hit, but I know why you're confused about this: the damage number that comes up when you hit during a combo is actually the sum of the damage you've dealt in consecutive blows. In other words, if you hit for 20 and then hit for 20 immediately thereafter, the number "40" will come up after the second blow to significy total damage dealt. You're correct that the slow speed of the dragon greatsword prevents this summation effect, but that doesn't mean that the damage is reduced. Make sense?
