One sitting, one playthrough.

I just did a playthrough in one sitting, from opening the cell in the asylum to killing Gwyn. Took me about 6 hours since I went out of the way to get consumable souls. Anyone else here done the entire game in one sitting? And I mean the whole game, no skipping the lord souls glitch.

Lol, I wasn't talking about a speedrun. I just meant fully playing the game out, killing all bosses etc etc, in one sitting.

I killed all bosses in the 1:52:59 one, it was without master key - the 1:31 had master key.

How did you get on with Smough & Ornstein?
Like were you high enough level to summmon help? If not where did you get the time to upgrade your equipment to such a level to be able to take on those two?

Because time flies when you're playing this and i cant imagine taking on those guys with a low level character or weapons. Even though im gonna try with my level 20 guy soon.

It feels strangely awesome not to know about ANY of the glitches I read about on these forums.

I don't know how to BB glitch, I don't know how to dup items, and I had no idea that there was even a boss souls glitch.

Chaos +1 on a claymore for the 1:52

for 1:31 - I speed ran New londo at beginning of game - had a +10 weapon from all Large Tits in sens so I had a Lightning +3 or 4 I think.

yea if you're getting a time like an 1:30-50 you are not doing anything but running by non boss enemies and only going out of your way for weapons/armor you plan on using ext. 1:50 every boss no master key amos? thats insane.

Lets say I only died to the BoC and Gwyn on that run, the 1:30 was no deaths.

It sounds fine, in theory, but theres so much " got to do things " in life that playing DkS 6 hours straight isnt possible.

Maybe later. Sounds very nice, though.

I don't know how to do glitches either, and I probably wont since I'm thinking about buying Demon Souls soon. Thinking about it...

Anyway, with the DLC coming soon, you and I shouldn't cave like the others We'll have lotsa fun!

Why would you kill something you don't need to? Or grab something you don't need? Sometimes I just like my playthrough footprint to be as little as possible.

But, but, but... the shinies! How can you say no to shinies.

Agreed. I don't know how to do any of them. I think duplication is accomplished with BB glitched... that's what I got from these people, if I remember correctly.

I can't do this, not because I can't. But the game would sidetrack me too much. By Sen's Fortress I imagine I would begin to run out of steam, and I would begin to want to try out new weapons and start to help people co-op on bosses, and just generally waste time.

Not to mention my OCD-ness about needing to exhaust damn near every NPC dialogue.

I was going to start an LP today where I just simply played dark souls. I had to scrap the 45 minute recording session because i kept freaking skipping every dialogue. I just can't help it!
