Backstab Free PvP zone

I am very surprised this has not been posted yet but there has been evidence of a backstab and riposte free pvp zone. Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFOrQetPtfg&feature=related

Basically it shows that you can not land critical hits on floating land platforms such as the rotating bridge in Anor Londo. This will make it a very honorable pvp zone and should allow for lots of great duels!

I use my fat tanks there and they wreck everything

There are a number of hornet/rapier BS artists in Anor Londo that refuse to even come on the bridge. It's pretty funny, I've had elaborate gesture/dance-offs with them as each tries to convince the other to come on or get off the lift while standing 20 feet apart.

I was surprised when i found out about this also, it seems like it would be more well known. heres the original post, the person who posted that video commented in it. yea i cant say ive never made a dupe post,but just use the search option. there is one problem with this, i have had a massive influx of invisible invaders while standing on this bridge and then it being rotated

I still have yet to encounter and invisible phantom/dark spirit. Just like ive never seen a resonance ring or a vagrant,but those things are obviously different. I know it happens and people have mentioned it happening in FC. I dont think it has anything to do with the rotating bridge,but its possible.

usually i see one once every week maybe but while doing this i had 5 vaders in one 2 session invisible seems to often to be a random glitch

Thats really strange that ive never encountered that even once, not saying it doesnt happen. I guess different players have really different experiences. I've been ***** a lot about my sessions in the burg being almost 70-80% lag fests with foreign players who just run immediately in for a bs with a great axe or DGM.I'm sure people are thinking "well my sessions are fine", but i might just not have the best luck with the 30-40 people i get paired with in the server or something. I dont know :roll:

I hope that the sales of both Demon's and Dark Souls doing so well will allow them to really make a fine tuned consistent game for the next installment. Not that those games were bad,i obviously love them,but they had a much smaller budget compared to say a game like Mass Effect. They did a great job with what they had though. The next game will have a huge budget im guessing since Dark Souls did so well worldwide.

i always though having a reversel button in could be cool, like if you get parried and are about to be reposted you can with teh right timing reverse it and get a critcial hit for youself, or with a backstab if you get it right you elbow them in the face and they get staggered

It would be cool, but it would definitely make the meta game interesting lol!
