Idea for a Bar

There are already gamer themed bars in America, even in Aus. If you do want to take a look into them and see what they do.

I've heard of a few, I know there's on in Australia run by Ben Yahtzee Crowshaw, I think it's a great business model.

Sounds like a great idea though....i doubt many women would attend. They probably would at first...till they met the regulars.

I would be afraid that costs would skyrocket from thrown controllers. Can you imagine drunken fools trying to play Dark Souls? Also, you'd have to have community characters so everyone would have to play a character they didn't customize and might be stuck with something they don't like.

Funny that you make the Estus Flask a drink that sounds like it would be sweet. In my mind it's bitter. Anyhow, you could steal some ideas from Barcade. That place is pretty fun!

I find the idea of estus to be warm and milky

Is this for real? How much start-up capital do you have? You're 20, are you even allowed to open up a bar?

The idea itself is awesome though. If it ever gets out to Florida, I'll be sure to check it out.

I imagine estus to be warm vaguely with no discernible flavor. So top shelf vodka or corn mash

This sounds awesome and don't forget racing and fighting games. Btw, you should have some heart shaped bar snacks.

This idea is unlikely to happen at the moment, I am however compiling a list of drinks for the bar in a notebook, I'm adding the portal shots, those are super cool.

As for start-up capital, through penny pinching and a few investments, I have a modest nestegg to work with, probably enough to pay for the barstools :roll:

I would be worried for those who drink Estus

There should be a phantom special for the Estus drink. Order one estus get one for a friend for free. The special also would include a follow up drink for a third party, who is not friends to the first two. It would be made by combining pickle juice, cranberry juice, hot sauce and cheap vodka. It would be called the Backstab.

Me too. I'd even drink a backstab to get in. although i've enjoyed cement mixers before so I think I'd be ok.

Dark Souls themed bar would be a horror to advertise for though.
