And we have fangs, and tails. And a suave accent.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
I don’t have skyrim yet. But i have played oblivion at least twice as much as i have played DkS yet. Needless to say i think it’s amazing.
My all around favorite race are the wood elves, since 75% of the builds i make are stealthy archers. I do like the argonians a lot too.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
Blarg.
Orcs win. I pet cats and subdue them. I throw them in the mix with everything else.
Also, worse enemy of them all ARE the blue demons in oblivion... especially the ones that summon the dinosaurs when the difficulty is ramped to maximum. *** spell absorbent, infinite summons, and the dinosaurs are a piece of ****. Skyrim? Everything is easy. I punched giants at level one and won... after about thirty plus minutes.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
Blue demons? I hate the dinosaurs as well. Especially when i challenged myself to complete it on max difficulty. I don’t care about what people say, Oblivion on max difficulty is harder than a DkS blind playthrough.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
I have no problem with Wraith, even though I have unarmed. I think that if you are a journeyman, ghosts and wraiths can be hurt with unarmed. i could be remembering wrong, though.
If not, the I remember just absorbing their mana and life with restoration touch spells, and I also had damage magicka and health to decrease their initial amount of HP and mana.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
Or the willo-the-wisps. One of my characters jsut went around murdering everbody (I was young) so those things drained all of my intellegence and willpower. I had to use science to cure myself because I couldn't pray at the altars to cure it.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
In Oblivion I played a dirty trick on a wandering guard once. I didn't have a silver/magic weapon and let a will o' the wisp chase me until he came across a guard on the road (who will stop and fight anything). Well, needless to say his steel sword didn't do very well against the wisp and the guards are all one trick ponies. Later....I went back and collected his armor since it was better than mine.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
Levitation was great in Morrowind. You could make an offering at this temple in Vivec and then you could fly for ages. I used to do it for fun. It was a good way of getting over the Ashlands. Cliffracers were a nuisance though. I was disappointed when they dropped levitation in Oblivion.
I also have a secret ambition. I want to conjour a Daedroth in an Apple Store, the computer one not a fruit shop.
Oh and Acidic, I just knew you'd want to play as a liche. I'm not here by the way, so you probably can't read this.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
Dawnguard might fix that with the bats. Slake, I went and did that and went straight up the whole time and saved my game at the end of the spell. I would load it for fun and watch him fall for ages

Does anybody remember the "Scroll of Icarian Flight" from Morrowind? That was fun.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
You jumped and flew..... and then came crashing back down. The scroll would expire before landing and you would die. However you can recast it midair making it actually possible to survive and use for travel. It was such fun and the way you found them was hilarious.

I laughed so hard once I figured out what happened. I then proceeded to try it myself and laugh the entire time.

Re: The Elder Scrolls
Sounds like shegorath got his magic from somewhere, or the scroll came form its origin from shegorath

Re: The Elder Scrolls
Oh werewolves get a megaboost too. They can summon other werewolves with a howl now with an ability on their new skill tree. I'm hoping they add anti-abomination stuff to balance out the werewolf/vamp supercharge.
