Re: Prometheus
I'm all for xenomorphs bro, pure bred survival instinct, I dislike the predators, they use too much technology, it is cool and stuff - but nothing strikes terror into the hearts of the humans as much as Xenomorphs, the Predators Technology and honor for the hunt would be their downfall imo.

I loved that movie, very captivating. On another note, what if the Predators and the Creators(original humans (big, hairless, white guys)) are at war and the Predators are actually on our side.

That would be extremely interesting Exter - It would bring a lot of interesting plot lines into the story. On a random note have any of your read all the alien books?

Re: Prometheus
It wasa good film in that it set itself uo as the prologue to Alien and Aliens and it also allowed for Ridley Scott to capitalise on a great commercial opportunity. However its down fall will be that it will require more films to follow it. Apparently an Omnibus of Alien and Aliens is already in the works.
How can you take two vastly seperate stories and combine then into one?
Great music though, sound was spectacular especially inside the ruins and such. It really gave the feeling of pure terror and mystery,
I also had to love Elizabeth Shaw. She suffered so unecessarily and I love characters like that.

Re: Prometheus
There will be a trilogy, its already announced. And while setting itself up as the prequel is cool, the fact is it doesnt work as even discounting the predator vs aliens half of thefranchise we have encountered aliens on earth in current time (just look at the new game colonial marines)

I haven't read the books but I did read the super man vs aliens comics, not that they are similar.TehInfamousAmos wrote:That would be extremely interesting Exter - It would bring a lot of interesting plot lines into the story. On a random note have any of your read all the alien books?
