Fatsos of Dks PvP

Wanted to challenge myself & also try to learn PvP while Med / Fat
rolling and was wondering since i rarely see anyone except total scrubs
that just put on full Havels, do you the experienced PvP-ers ever try to
PvP like this ?

I'm currently playing a cos play build that mainly focuses on using Heavy high poise setups with Med / Fat rolls.
Here is the build:

SL 109 Bandit
Vitality - 50
Attunement - 16
Endurance - 36
Strength - 40
Dexterity - 18
Resistance - 11
Intelligence - 8
Faith - 12

With different setups (nothing new) if anyone is interested, it's really fun to play

Black Knight (you can also de-equip the BK
Halberd & use a different ring instead of Havels & keep the Med
roll)

Tarkus
Stone Guardian
When faced with 0 Poise light opponents i stand a good chance of beating
them but when i get a typical cookie cutter High Poise, ninja flip, MoM
wearing guy (basically best of both worlds) my chances of wining drop
significantly.

I don't want to make this into a DWGR rand topic
& please don't make it one but it just shows that without it the
Fatsos of Dks pvp could possibly be viable although maybe not so much
fun as the light weight counterparts.
But playing Dks PvP exclusively
using below 25% weight Light rolls (DWGR) & switching to something
different i can say it's a breath of fresh air, frustrating at times but
fun non the less

And that is why I fast roll, don't think i would do good with fat roll but i have noticed the strange i frames for the med roll.

I noticed that the fatter you get the less rolling should be implemented in your fighting style
Most of the times it gives my opponent the opportunity to BS me than get's me out of harm's way.
I rely more on "footsies" and Poise than quick dodging.
I only roll when they start spamming spells.

I wonder how it is fatso pvp build, but also think it may not work well, low poise builds are not that common and you get really susceptible to backstab, specially if the other player dont lock on you

You can dodge spells pretty effectively with a fatty roll, but in a close quarters fight it's free damage for your opponent.

I have to have at least a mid to make PVP even possible. =/

I haven't ever fat rolled in a PvP build, though one day I do plan on it. However I have abandoned the ring that shall not be named and have fallen in love with the Wolf Ring instead. My SL80 sort of cosplay, SK armor with BK weapons, medium rolls and is a freakin killer build. Check my signature for it. Then I have a light weight build that uses the wolf ring and does the traditional fast roll which I really enjoy.

What I've come to realize is with any character that doesn't fast roll or ninja flip you need to use the simple back step much more then rolling. The back step, if used right, can get you away from a BS and often times setup a free hit or BS of your own on a fisher. Just be cautious and don't spam rolling R1s lol
