My New Build, Leonard Axehands!

So I love the Hand Axe and I wanted a build that dual wields them. So here i am putting one together.

I need some thoughts and opinions. The only thing that can't be changed is the weapons and no chest armor. I need that barbarian look. And I need poise so let's try and not lower it, gonna have to tank some shots while I blast away so poise will be important. Otherwise I'm flexible

If you dont eant to use elemental weapons and no magic, i would say go with this then. More vitality for tanking those hits and more damage from the axes. Plus you are still under weight for fast roll.

Yeah I considered the Pharis hat, I've just never seen it on a Male.

Fr a start you chose the worst class. bqndit gives you 6 extra levels. Also I dont do mych sl 40 pvp but do you need that much health?

I've actually never used elemental weapons. Maybe that wouldn't be a bad idea. I do think your stat changes are a good idea though.

I simply picked the knight so I could start with the leggings lol, I'm lazy. Probably isn't a good decision

Interchange the leggings and gloves with whatever you have at the moment. Pharis' hat would probably be easier for you to obtain than the Dark Mask.

While levelling, you can use raw weapons before switching to fire.

But you listed as starting off as Bandit...

I personally am not a fan of elemental paths. But, if you wanted to tough it out to get to anor londo at 40, elemental axes would do almost double the damage. Even if they have to go through two resistances, at that level, I think it would still be nasty.
And the health is always nice to have high imo. Especially if you are going for that barbarian theme. If you can tank the hit, you can deal out more dmg.

I selected bandit? That was accident, doing this on my phone and Mugen runs weird on it.

Fire sounds good, i think I would enjoy that!

He can just go for +5 fire weapons. At level 40 it would be perfectly acceptable. But if he wants to get electric, I'm doing an SL1 run and I've gone through Anor Londo no problem.

I'm gonna have to get through Anor anyways if I plan on becoming a Darkwraith, right? Also I'm not sure on the level cap, just figured 40 would be good for Blighttown and Sen's.

And yeah, if you wanted you could go fight 4 kings right after you finish the undead burg. I'd recommend ringing the second bell and then rushing for the chaos ember first though, and to do that you need to get through sen's fortress at least, and get the flameplate ring.

Lightning weapons will help IMMENSELY when going down to Lost Izalith for the flame ember, so I recommend upgrading a battleaxe to +3 lightning and then heading down there right after Anor Londo. That way you can get the chaos and fire ember in one go. A +5 lightning battleaxe with a +5 heavy body piece of some sort will also make the Four Kings easy-sauce. This is how I got through them on SL 1, so on an SL 30 you'd have no problem.

To get the chaos ember, you'll need to equip full gold-hemmed set, the flame stoneplate ring, and flash sweat. Pick off the taurus demons, cast flash sweat, run for the ember and grab it.

If you were to use a certain glitch, you'd have the abyss ring from the beginning...

There's absolutely no way he's going to kill the Four Kings with a non-elemental weapon on an SL 30 Gouge build.

Go for Anor Londo first. If it's not your first playthrough, it should take no time at all. You can skip through almost all of blighttown if you get the master key, which means you can make it to Anor Londo easily within 2 hours.

I don't have a character with items I can sacrificed so I've never done this unspoken thing.

Yeah maybe 30 would be better for Btown. I'm used to Cooping, not invading, so I'm probably off on my SL levels for zones.

If I had to glitch a PvE weapon to get through the parts of the game I needed to in order to then PvP with a level appropriate weapon, I wouldn't think twice about doing it.
