Co-oping Ghost

While I wait on either farming to pay off or someone else's generosity ( ), I figured I'd get some thoughts on this idea I had. To be honest, I'm a little tired of PvP and want to get back to my old co-oping roots, so I figured I'd make a co-op focused build for the first time in a long time, and what better build than something I'd never in a million years think to take into serious PvP? Introducing the New Londo Ghost Cosplay!

Some concerns I had were mostly with the Soul Level and the armor choice. Should I go to 60 for more area coverage, or would this build end up being too weak for those later areas with its weapons? And are the Moonlight Robes the best choice, or is there something more raggedy that would be whitewashed enough by the "being a phantom" effect that would look better? The Crown of Dusk and Iron Bracelets I like because they're basically not there with how little there is to them so they don't interfere with the look (one of them even enhances my lightning spears )

Wolf ring instead of RoFap. You don't want to get stunlocked by just a normal attack by them ghosts. It sucks so bad....

I'm not going anywhere near New Londo for co-op at only level 40

Besides, at this point in my Dark Souls career I don't think there's any enemy I can't dodge or parry, and that stabby-stabby R2 attack takes out alot of stamina

Ahh. I assumed it was to be summoned in New Londo cause of the- ok haha!

There's no way you could dodge 4 ghosts attacking you all at once, btw. *shiver*

It's actually quite easy, all you have to do is not aggro 4 at once

That's actually impossible because as soon as you get CLOSE to the ambush room below the Sealer, 4 come at you from the water. I did a no shield playthrough on NG+... oh jeez. I had to bait the least I could, and that one group ALWAYS came in 4. Always.

If you run through the rest of the building before entering the room, you can actually clear out all the ambushing ghosts one or two at a time. Then only one or two will come in when you go into the room with the Banshee. It just takes an obnoxiously long time

Yeeeaaah. I just hate that area altogether in NG+ with no shield. I actually suck a using a shield now because i haven't used one in so long. I used to be so good at knowing exactly when to shield, I might as well have been parrying haha! I was a pro and stamina management. *sigh*

Anyway, where are you going to co op?

Anywhere a Soul Level 40 might find traffic. Quelaag, Capra Demon, Iron Golem. Maybe Fatty and Slim if I'm feeling gutsy, but I'll probably just generalize it as "anywhere before Anor Londo."

Use thorn legs so they turn invisible with ring of fog.

make a sl 20, 40, 60 and 80 thats what i did on my tarkus profile.

sl 20: help out the peeps at the bell gargoyle, touras demon, anything up to gaping dragon.
sl:40: help the peeps from quelaag up to o&s.
sl60: you can help peeps from o&s and all the bosses leading up to the main bosses (main bosses are the bosses that give you souls for the lordvessel)
sl:80: all the main bosses like the 4 kings, or seath the scaless and up to the last boss gwyn.

and i have a sl 120 tarkus for pvp. Just my 2 cents.

I could always lower the Vit or End to put it at 30. With the RoFaP I'll still get decent amount of those
