Weird Summoning Event

So I was repeatedly attempting to do 4 Kings in NG++ and failing horribly with full party.

i was basically summoning the same 2 guys over and over again. But this one time, I summoned someone new. And while I was waiting for this new guy to come (the summoning message came up) I was walking towards where I summon the other guy. And as I was walking over to him, he appeared. He was summoned and not the other player who's summon sign I touched.

Probably is nothing but a glitch but was wondering if anyone else has had that happen before.

Happens all the time. There's like 12 posts on this. Wait till you touch a white sign and summon a dark spirit.

This happened to me in New Londo. I had been summoned over and over by a guy trying to beat 4 kings and the last time he summons me I invaded from my spot instead.

I was going to black crystal out, but his friend starts attacking me. I finished him off and died when I had the host at a sliver of health.

I've been summoned as a white phantom when I tried to invade.

ok but all of these instances are not like what i described. I mean, i clicked on to summon a guy. then walked around looking for another summon sign (where the guy I usually summon leaves it, which is near the blacksmith in londo ruins) and he just appeared. Where as the guy I summoned, just before the archways never showed up nor did I get an error message.

People were just trying to give you examples of glitches, which is what you're experiencing. I'm not sure what else you want?

yeah just seems a little stranger as sometimes I get in these loops where I keep seeing only the same soul stones. And after repeatedly failing with the same group sometimes you need to mix it up personnel wise. If it was to happening more often and to other people then it would be something that FROM should fix.

Yeah, you're right. Your experience was way crazier than everyone else's.

Really? I once summoned a dark spirit at the Kiln and I got a message from him asking how I pulled him out of his game. He didn't explain what he was doing (white sign/invasion/plain PvE).

How's that for weird?

I've put down a red sign before and been summoned as a white. That was kinda weird.

@JY4answer the guy didn't even have a stone down?

yeah that takes the cake.

i failed to kill the four kings with a summon so i summoned someone different and out pops the old guy who i failed with instead but we beat the four kings anyway
