So I have 11 fights to put into a vid for you guys. Just dont expect it to be anything like Amos's or Broke's. Neither myself/webcam are as good as them/theirs so expect to see a lot of BSing on my part.

So... I think I already posted one of my FH builds, but here it is again:

    http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=3398564096662771

As you could deduce, the 28/24 is just to be able to wield almost every single weapong in the game. Due to its limitations, I will go with the elemental (chaos/electric) path of those weapons, and I will not have the benefits of some unique, scaling weapons.

What I have faced is the possibility of leveling up my toon. The problem is... how? I can use up to ten (10) weapons in a single fight, so +15 weapons with a buff are not an option. I could get enough VIT/END to get rid of the RoFaP and get some ATT slots along a fistful of miracles/spells, but I do not know what to do.

In plus of that... will it be worth the effort? Maybe I will not be invading as frequently as I am doing right now (as I said, I am a FH).

Your English is fine. Leveling up is not a problem. a lot of us use high level characters and never run into a lack of fights. More levels mainly means more options.

@N_Raist - hey bro welcome to the anti-ganking sqaud Proper Bow I am with Skare and Dough on this one - you do not want to limit yourself if the only thing you do with your FH is invade the forest. My hunter is SL314 and I have no problem with invading up or down. But with one caveat -with a higher SL FH you will be encountering more powerful opponents (due to DkS's SL match up process) more often but you will also be stronger - so it evens out in the end. I am usually killed by either a straight out gank and/or BS fishing master - every thing else is manageable at higher levels. Also a higher SL FH will allow you to wield even more types of weaponry (I personally use the Mura, Bastard sword, Pike and the DSS the most) and you will now be able to buff with the taste of the day: (grape (DMB), lemon zest (SLB) or rock candy (CMW))twisted . Also don't forget to raise your poise to at least 53 (unless lower poise is part of your fighting style) so you can withstand one hit from a great sword class weapon and still be able to hit back. Meeting this poise point (my FH poise is 55) has saved me so many times cheers .

If you are on the XBOX send me a PM either here or on the console and I will send you a friend request.

    Fight hard and die harder!!

Well, I will be running with some +15 weapons, then, and 44INT/50FAI, to buff some of them (for example, a buffable weapon and a chaos gargoyle halberd as backup).

Yes, poise breakpoints are one of my greatest headaches. I LOVE the looks of Orns armor (closest one to my dear GARO), but it has terrible poise. Taking off the RoFaP, I could wear thief mask, crimson robe and black iron gauntlets+leggings. 36 poise+40 from the Wolf Ring, that makes a total of 76. Of course, In plus of that, I would be able to change my armor (for example, another combination for poise+family mask, or whatever).

Anyway, I am trying to get better at Toggle Escaping and all that pro stuff lol (I can scape stunlock, but not as perfectly as I would like).

Sorry, only PS3 😢 . It is a shame, I would love to play with and against you.

Being clear: if I aim for a 3XXSL FH, I would go with 40STR/40DEX/44INT/50FAI, some ATT, enough END and 99 VIT. Something like this?

    We serve a purpose ,
Gathered here to interfere with those Unexpected Questers , but Who are those Brave Men Lurking ?
They're looking Sane on the Surface ,
but they Dare to Step into the Mist , to Battle in the Shadows with us Gravelord Servants.
While Flames are Burning, our Slaves are Being Murdered ,
But little do they Know , They will be Replaced with more Powerfull Recurring Black-Phantom-Versions!
Eyes of death ? Mine are Fresh , still reeking of vengeance , Misery and Flesh !

just put these together , unfortunately english isn't my native language

I just felt like checking in with my fellow Hunters after lurking through almost all of the thread. My bio:

    X-Box GT: WarriorBenDog
Feel free to friend request or message, just note that you're from here.

I originally joined the Forest Hunters to get Shiva as a merchant to get some of his sweet weapons in Blighttown. However, after trying on the ring out of curiosity, I quickly grew to love the fast, hectic, chaotic, one-sided PvP. I dabbled in Darkmoons, but could never find anyone to invade. I ran with the Darkwraiths for a bit, but I found that I mostly ended up invading the Forest, as 1v1's were either too easy, or ended to quickly. I found my way back, and rejoined the forest. I now crusade with my sl 206, and appreciate the gank for what it is. In fact, I feel like the forest embodies the very soul, pun not intended, of Dark Souls. Fighting against overwhelming odds, making each win that much sweeter. That's my story. On I go, to vanquish my foe!

Hey hunters, I took a short break from the party last night (got some funny stories and videos in that thread btw) and did some hunting. A great night (although short) overall. The best victory was invading a twosome who had narrowly beaten me once before. Both start pursuing me and the phantom breaks off. Interesting....I don't see anyone. Have I ever mentioned I love invisibles? The phantom gets positively destroyed. The host is insanely good with flipping out of damage but it's still fun chasing him. Since he's flipping so danged much there's no danger of me getting hurt. He flasks A LOT and that's fine with me. Every so often the invisible (who it looks like he either can't see or isn't keeping good track of) smacks him. I start funneling him around with Lloyd's talismans and hit him a few times when he can't heal. Let it wear off, he chugs way more times than necessary. Rinse and repeat and he is probably in ganker hell. Eventually he had to be put down but it was fun chasing twisted
