Torchlight II

Torchlight II... anyone else out there getting this game in the wake of D3? I would love to get a group together to go dungeon crawling with when this game finally drops

Also, what are your thoughts? what class do you like best so far? what do you hope to play as?

for me the price was right at 20 bucks and the new characters look really unique. i think i will end up playing as an outlander or an Engineer as my first playthrough., dual wielding a sword and pistol.

I played the first one and really liked it. When is the release for II?

Steam says "Summer 2012" but ive heard rumors saying either the begining of August or the end of it.

I will differently get it the first one was great and now this one has CO-OP but im on XBL

If I get it, I'll just get it for PC. I wouldn't want it on my Xbox anyway.

it might be ported sooner or later, but if you get it now for pc, you get TL1 for free.

plus, torchlight 2 shouldnt be too graphically intense for most P.C.s

mine is to out of date only good for this wiki but I already got the first game on my PC not sure about get the 2nd on my PC O might get a laptop not sure though will defiantly talk about the game

Im pretty excited, Im pretty green to the ARPG genre, having only ever played Titan Quest for about an hour and a half, but this looks like it could be a lot of fun. Im really in love with the pets store function, so usefull for long hauls. I like the amount of colour too nice and varied with tons of bright explosions and spells but still keeping the dungeon crawler look too it.

It's releasing in 5 days... I'll probably play as an Engineer, although I'll give each class a chance. Anyone joining me in dungeon crawling adventures?

Wow, the Steam release date fluctuated a bit. Releases tomorrow at noon for me.

I thought it got released yesterday.

I think it's going to be released in a few hours.

I played the beta and really like Engineer,the Mage was too OP in melee(2xx damage in level 4 with the starter wand...)

So ive been playing a bit and ive gotten up to act 2 with a couple of classes and i gotta say. Construction Engies are a goddamn power house. i love em

Anyone else playing? I've been too into LoL and Borderlands 2 lately, and haven't actually played any of this yet.

also the outlander class seems to be a tad underpowered, but i may just not be playing it right....

you should really give it a try! plenty of action, cool boss fights, metric tonnes of loot, and the colours. of god the colours. every fight looks like a kaleidoscope exploding in your face!

Well, I have been playing league of ledgends too but I liked no1 and would certainly drop a tithe for this. lemme check my bank balance
