    Scientists need to discover magic

Post by JoeBroski09 on Mon Jun 11, 2012 5:26 pm

I wish scientists could discover magic already :x That way we could put our minds into a projection of Dark Souls. or any video game. Though, I'd want Dark Souls.

You'd actually see the size of every boss. Every single thing would be devastatingly horrifying. The whole "everything in Dark Souls is just a big bad thing that wants to kill you" would actually be a big bad thing that wants to kill you! I MEAN! COMEON! That'd be awesome! You could create your character after EXACTLY what you want to be. Want to use a katana? Put stats into dex to learn how to use it better. You literally feel more familiar with the dex-weapons. You hit harder with str weapons when you puts stats into strength. Your miracles simply flow easier and stronger when you have more faith. You simply know how to cast magic when you get intelligence. You can carry more with endurance. You simply don't get hurt as much with resistance. You can memorize more spells with attunement, and you can take more of a hit with vitality.

You can then use your favorite weapon in whatever way you want. Granted, the blade will determine how you want to swing. You wouldn't want to just swing your rapier. You need to stab. A gargoyle halberd would hit better swinging down than a normal halberd because of the blade. Everything would be new. Almost any weapon with a point could be used by Leo's Ring. The flip ring would take more stamina to flip (that's my fix. Make the flip take up half your stamina, it won't be as OP), the wolf ring would make you feel like rock: unmovable. The havel's ring would make anything you're wearing feel lighter.

    Could you imagine the awesomeness?

SCIENTISTS NEED TO DISCOVER MAGIC RIGHT NOW!

Of course, you have to remember that if you were that connected to the game, you would likely feel pain.

The sharp, agonizing pain of being literally ripped apart over and over again.

Assuming the main topic is basically "true" first person gaming, you would need to feel at least SOMETHING, otherwise you wouldn't know if there was an enemy wailing on you (assuming you didn't have a HUD).

yeah, but pain would be the absence of feeling. You'd feel everything, but when you feel numbness, you know it's damage. Plus, you'd just simply see the hub or you'd simply know how much stamina and health you had. It's like simply KNOWING if you've been hit once by a GS and that one more hit will stagger you unless you let a little bit of time pass by.

1v3 Ganks would be a lot more common.

It's not like you're going to be SEEING your dead body. It'll disappear like it does now. But you couldn't just take off your clothes. They'd feel like they're clipped together and tightly fit to your body, You'd have to change your equipment in the "menu." That you'd have to open. You'd see it in front of your eyes right there. You'd just have to command it to do so.

Haha! Talk to girls more. Friend zone them. Its fun because you'll hear all their secrets and learn sooo much. Plus, they always want to talk. Say goodbye to lonliness.
