Hmmmm, he may have been outside your range when he cast it, or he casted it before it affected him. It might have just run out when he casted it

Due to lag, he may have been outside the radius meaning while you seen it as working, he had JUST a second left. Or it's a really weird glitch

I have only seen this miracle used once not counting me testing it and it was used by a ganker group. The visual effects of it are pretty cool, made me killing the gankers look cool lol.

It should counter buffs because they are miracles, but like the other guys were saying, lag can effect the timing. Probably showed him in purple on your screen, but on his he was able to cast before you got him within the VoS AoE.

If VoS and TWoP was cast at the same time by two different people, would VoS cancel out TWoP?

You'd have to cast VoS first. It takes a second to take effect after it's cast, same as TWoP.

I'm tempted to not even admit this, but I use VoS in Anor Londo pvp and it is glorious. Everyone assumes you are casting TWoP because the cast animations are so similar, so their counter is WOG or spells instead of trying to roll away. All that happens is they stand there waving their talismans/catalyst at you while you stab them to death. It even seems to block pyro so say goodbye to your GC and fire tempests etc. Only real negative is that it only has 2 casts and takes up 2 slots, but the 30 second duration makes up for that somewhat. Plus the nails on a blackboard noise of the effect messes with people's heads, I've gotten PMs later demanding to know what "that sound" was, accusing me of hacking etc.
