Here the formula to increase PvP wins!

I fought some PvP fights in the kiln at week-end and watched my opponents carefully.
Now I want to present it to the whole Dark Soukls PvP Community.
I am sure it's already well known, but I wanted to make a topic about this.
Take a look and tell me if you agree with it.

To sum it up: If you use a heavy armor with the flippy ring and a heavy *** lighting/fire weapon you're overpowered enough to win nearly 90% of your fights regardless of your skills. Abusing lagstabs improve this too.

I raged many many times. Sometimes I got headache from raging over PvP fights with such guys. So next time people, if you encounter such creatures you have to know:
They are noobs, have no skills and feel good that way. Let them look like *** *** clowns.
Skilled and honorable players don't use the stuff mentioned above.

It's provoking and many will complain but it's the truth.

P.S.: It would be nice to organize PvP fights where stuff like is forbidden to use.

i dont agree, that does help but if youre up against someone good, nothing will keep you from getting your *** kicked i wear the flip ring with enough poise to take a gs hit but not a ultra gs hit cause i dont plan on getting hit by one. if you want honrable duels you should join us in the fight club, look at the sticky on top.

Dark Wood Grain Ring should only take effect if equip load is under 25% not 50%. It would completely change PvP fights in a fair way.
Want to have high poise, you should not move that fast.
Want to move fast, you should not have poise.

Well the DWGR is just way too good. 50% equip burden but rolling better than 25%? Needs to be nerfed...
I like the helmet from the giants set, combined with ornstein chest part it looks really cool.
The three masks and stamina shield are just ugly, huh.

I'll have to make sure to use this as a future gear setup, thanks. People seem to complain about everything related to PvP these days.

grass crest shield looks good dude, the 95% block doesnt matter to me, i always two hand my weapons because i never block with it. i use effigy shield just cause it has good stats and is the best looking shield in the game, just look at it!!!

Doest it means, that using the best ring and stuff in the game for pvp, is stupid ?
Yes poise is an advantage for pvp/pve
Yes rolling is an advantage for pvp/pve
Yes having a good armor with a lot of def is good for pvp/pve
Yes a helm who grant a bonus is better than something that doesn't for pvp/pve
Yes using the best ring of the game, granting power up for stam/HP/equip load is an advantage for pvv/pve

So I don't really get it, because it's just too good, and the game give it to you, you should don't use any of this in order to show you're true skills ?

I made 9 characters, with different build, stats, and weapons, on each of them, If can use one or more of this stuff, I'll do it if it's granting me advantage and optimization for my char.

My victory or loss is not decided only by these, if it was the case, I would have stick to one char, played 1 day of pvp, fighting clones chars, and then quit the game.

(It doesn't mean that I don't agree on the excessive power of some of these items btw)

The problem is that you can move like Speedy Gonzales in Havels Armor if you are wearing DWGR. That's the main problem!

My formula is avoid playing at mid-day here in Brazil, which means it's midnight or 11 PM in Japan. Tried some PVP today and it was just abysmal. Got farmed, ganged, lagstabbed, taunted after defeat. When they were losing, they ran behind enemies as invaders and healed. I've had about two fair duels with a guy that at least bowed to me before and after the fight. He won one, I won another.

I know that. I had a few fights with japanese players. I invaded them. They bowed before fight and I bowed too. I was wearing hunter dress, cloranty ring, speckled stone ring and chaos blade. They used my magical formula.
Thought thats going to be a fair fight. I nearly killed them.
THEN THEY USED FLASK! And I died everytime while fighting them.

Lots of people flask during PvP. Not all of them are Japanese. I don't like the tone this thread has taken one bit. Pointing out certain idiosyncrasies is one thing, but taking the next step and labeling them scum of the earth is unnecessary. As a result I am locking this thread, OP and Blazefury consider yourselves warned.
