What sl do you think for new londo? They've *probably done anor londo and sif. Anor londo is sl 60 heavy so 80, 90, 100? Somewhere in there?
*bbers and people who want to try the 4kings at sl 5 need do neither to fight the 4 kings

I don't want a sl 60. All endurance, vit, and lightning. No versatility at all.

switched blood shield for heater shield marginally more stable. reduces resistances (the only one you really need to worry about is poison bleed weapons will probably kill before they trigger.)
Put on mask of mother 4 soul levels freed up for pretty much the same HP
Switched around the armour set. unsure how much it ruins the aesthetic but neither of those sets are too hard to get and are both permitted by your covenant.
I removed karmic justice because it takes up the same slot as green blossom and added sunlight blade since it has no counter spell. feel free to replace with another spell or save 2 sl
Upped faith by 6 with left over soul levels.
Changed starting class to bandit which takes one point out of Int
overall it looks like this.

Hmm I hate MoM and I won't be mixing up armor like that; we are supposed to keep it relatively uniform. Already started a knight for this so class change is out of question. Unfortunately the stat changes you made are kind of pointless without the armor change with the exception of dropping an attunement slot which I may do to boost vitality. The shield change I may do as well as the Bloodshield was included because it seemed like a good idea until I could test various ideas. So in short I may use some of these alterations but I refuse to use the masks which therefore makes these alterations hard to do. I do appreciate the advice though as the shield but and a portion of the stat bit may actually be incorporated into my build.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Okay, no mask mode and no class change. got it gimme a few and Ill drop another one into this post.
armour rings and gear remains the same.
-5 strength because its giving you basically nothing on this build, unsure why I missed it first time.
-6 end because you can still fast roll with your armour and you still have a stamina bar greater than 40 endurance without RoFaP
-4 attunement assuming you are not intending to use the sunlight blade.(it doesnt really fit thematically )
+5 dex for faster cast time, this may not be worth it if you only have WoG's to cast I leave it to your discretion whether this stays or goes to int
+10 faith gives you 73 magic damage on DMB and some more power on WoG
anyways hope I didnt trample on the restrictions to much this time

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
I was going to wear black iro, black knight, or black clerics to stealth everyone. Use backsabbing like it should have been implimented imo, from stealth.
nothing wrong with that, pull out the iaito and fight if I'm forced into a confrontation. I'm not there for a duel, i'd be at 120 in the burg if thats what I wanted, i'm there to kill you. Stealth ganking was the original plan.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Dan don't worry about trying to perfect my build; I'm bound within cov rules again. I will implement your suggestions that I can but unfortunately I am bound by cov rules again so making a perfect pvp build isn't really an option. I will however be making the best of what I have. I will get around to making an unrestricted pvp build eventually but not now. Thanks for trying though.
Edit: Just saw the new build and I like it in some ways but not in others. I don't like cutting my endurance as I value stamina but I like the faith boost which increases damage potential. Cutting strength is probably wise and I will probably do that though I will keep it to twelve to staisfy my ocd. I'm probably going to imlement a compromise of builds here.
Edit Again: Okay I have cut strength to 12 and att to 14 at least possiblly to 12. I will be testing shields but Heater is a strong candidate. This alone frees up 6 points to play with possibly 8. However I am considering dumping them into vitality to give my DM some durability. I looked up some vids on cast speed and the 40-45 difference, though noticeable, did not seem crazy significant. I want my max stamina so I added points back to that. My true debate is where to put these 6 free points. Like I said vit is enticing but I am considering dex and faith due to your build. Here is how it stands currently: http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=4505042497284833
Forgive the Karmic Justice but it fits so well with the cov and it has proven useful on occasion believe it or not. I will use humanity to heal as you suggested. Now I ask you should these points go to dex, vit, or faith? I realize that part of you is dying Dan as I struggle against your clearly superior build but I play for fun so as long as it is functional I'm not too worried. I am definitely leaning toward vit at the moment though to allow me to take some hits seeing as how my armor is weak. It also buys time for Karmic Justice to trigger if I get stunlocked and yes it has saved me sometimes.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Sorry to double post but another edit seemed a bit ridiculous to me. I have decided to just go with my original build as I seem unable to content myself with the alterations others propose. I apologize for wasting your time.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Sun, I do have the rule right, do I not? No stealth ganking?
Also, I prefer not to take chances, must I bow to hosts with phantoms? That's easily the fastest way to get ganked in the entire universe.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
@sun its fine all of my suggestions are intended as take em or leave em (if you were going to keep karmic I would add onto vitality and not faith though yeah)
and believe it or not my builds are rarely totally functional I have my own OCD's the build you thought could have had a mask and 4 points shaved off at least

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Fishing just gets you killed anyways. Any good player has 37 counters to the idiot straffe, so it wouldn't work if I wanted it too unless they were rather unskilled. All you have to do is let them get close, then take 1 step backwards and hit r1. Easiest 1100 damage I ever get.Xacktastic wrote:Forum, stealth bs is fine. Just not backstab fishing mid battle.

Roll fishing is tougher to deal with, Fighting lock off is the easiest way imo.

WoG is okay, but I would not use it if they are in close because you risk them rolling as it casts, taking no damage and BS'ing you.
