Re: Lordran's Deliverance
I would agree, but I separate them. In pve I'm solo with non bbd characters trying to beat the game. If i'm invaded by uber geared character I'm in for 1 hell of a fight. But I want to pvp, and not spend 20 hours beating the game first. Its purely for quick easy pvp builds, usually as sl 80 or 120.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Yeah I'm not quite that good to be able to beat a guy with lightning weapon and flipping full giants with a guy with Med roll and +5/10 weapon.. Not that good and my PvP style doesn't avoid hits 100% of the time

Oh wow this thread grew fast. In regards to being the xbl leader I would be glad to if you want me to Zach. As Shkar said my gamertag is LongShot95. I apologize that I do not speak Native Hawaiin but I do speak passable Spanish.
Now I must get to work on my character for this cov.

I have no idea I just came back myself.
By the way a question for Zack: Why isn't the DM Bow a cov item like the Catalyst is? Shouldn't it be useable at higher ranks as well?

Almost literally nothing for 4, then 1 1/2 of me arguing with knights, me tentatively being willing to join, and a conversation about the bb, griefing, and the dms bad reputation.

The DMs' bad rep is unjustified; we hunt the guilty for Gwyn's sake.

Gwyndolyn. Gwyn is one of the npcs we're supposed to kill so we can rekindle the flame.

No I was subbing in Gwyn for God or Christ... I was trying to be in tune with Dark Souls but ok....

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Gwynevere is an illusion created by gwendolyn. Gwynevere wants you to kill gwyn. Gwyndolyn wants you to kill gwyn. DMs are servants of gwendolyn. DMs are intended to kill gwyn.
Thats the logic train. I was also speaking from a lore perspective.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
No I realize all of this Forum. I was simply modifying a common phrase (for God's sake) into a Dark Souls version.
Edit: I also figured I wouldn't offend anybody that way; some people can get touchy over religion so I try to keep it out of my discussions which I failed at in this case.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
What Serious said. I was trying to simply incorporate Dark Souls in to a common phrase. I see how you could have misinterpreted that though. I suggest just dropping it and getting this thread back on topic.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Ah, yeah I tend to be very literal. My bad.
Anyways, when you're next on Xack, can you clarify the bowing rule? Am I allowed to use the rof to hide in dark areas and shoot people off things with the dragon slayer bo for instance?
I usually bow for duels anyways, but randoms are usually not duels outside the burg. They're hunts in my experience. Formality would get in the way there.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Hmm working on a build for this cov; I want to keep it DM themed but it feels odd working without any restrictions on my gear. I want it to be good and everything but I also want it to look cool. Decisions, decisions...

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
What i did was take obvious equipment for the cov. (pyromancer set) then fill in the weakness with lore that still fits (dark legging and gauntlets) then fill in my character around that kinda.
I have no idea what a "stereotypical dm member" looks like, but id start with that.

Usually knight like gear, Joe. Most of the DMs I've fought always have more metal bits than cloth.

I'm aiming for a dex/faith built with a knight like appearance. I would like to incorporate brass armor when able though for now I will use standard knight gear.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Then id say knight leggings and gauntlets with elite knight helm and chest. Or that coin-like chest u get from the trader in the dephs. It looks freaking awesome. Heck, everything but the helm in that set would work.SunlightCrusader wrote:I'm aiming for a dex/faith built with a knight like appearance. Re: Lordran's Deliverance
I'm going for all knight gear + elite knight helm at the moment. Once I can I may switch to full Brass to represent the cov... even if it does look a bit feminine.
