The Scions of Artorias

Dedicated to the pursuit of Artorias mythic powers. The Scions would seek to emulate him in all aspects. The Covenant Divided in the True followers of Artorias who believe that he never left Gwyn's Service or fell to Dark, and the Cursed Followers who followed him down into the Abyss to seek the same powers that supposedly turned him to Kaathes followers.

Who even remotely cares about this?

The only two covenants allowed to participate are the Forest Hunters and DarkWraiths.

Our enemies are no one and everyone as we test ourselves to see if we can match Artorias skill in all forms of combat.

Our Allies are those of our master... depending on you take on Artorias' monomyth

Requires an Artorias build. Must use either the Cursed of True Sword of Artorias or his shield. Bonuses for those who use both.

When the DLC comes out only the highest ranked members will be allowed to use his armour. (not to highly ranked but wortgh putting effort into the cov)

Dark Wraiths offer humanity as per usual

Forest Hunters offer Pendants

Start out as Pretenders and move up to Emulators and Paragons!

One of my forest hunters is an Artorias build, so it would be fitting haha.

Ah now I fleshed thay out in my head this morning and there is no room for choosing riduclous armours and such for your builds.

Artoria was a Knight so the basis is always going to be tied to one of the knight sets.

Pretenders- Start out with Knights Chest, heavy Boots, and Tattered Manchettes. the Thiefs hood for the Cursed and Knights or none for the True.

Journeymen- Move towards the Elite Knight Set

Emulators- Full Elite Knights or Silver Knights for the True. Cursed Get Dark Armour or Black Knight

Paragons- Get full Artorias gear!

So you're going to tell us the location of Artorias' gear?

Can higher ranking members use the lower tier sets? I prefer regular Knight's to Elite, outside of the Elite Helm.

The True have to bring in 1,2,3,5,10 respectively. (unless my figuring of the FH cov is wrong you can earn many pendants)

Pendants are random drops, so you can technically earn them really quickly, but normally it takes a long time. On my one toon I've killed over two hundred hosts, and have 11 Pendants if that gives you an idea.

Good the True must have a hard road ahead of them.

As must the Cursed.

BTW what would you be Tolvo.

bearing in mind another stipulation i forgot to make which is that the Cursed must use the Cursed version of the Sword while the True must use the holy blade.

Also may I suggest some medium armors?

A raggedy set like the balder set for rank 1

Knight set for rank 2

Elite knight/Dark set for rank 3

Silver knight/Black knight set for rank 4

Full Artorias armor for rank 5

You only have 4 ranks though so add another name!!!!

The Balder Set, and Beinike set aren't too out there. After all, their weapons can be found at the grave. Though I will say there are three examples of the Knight set in the forest. Two forest hunter NPC's, and the one in the water. As well the Elite Knight set is there, and Oscar has hidden messages. Maybe the Stone Knight Set as well? Those might have been his elite knights after all, I'm still not entirely sure if they are Golems or not.

Well didnt you say the ones in the dlc were humans in armour Tolvo? Cause if they are I think we can assume they were related to Artorias in some way and work perfectly.

The Stone knights in the images have armor that is set up to protect something inside of them, have joints opened with visible under armor meaning the are designed for a human/humanoid to be mobile while inside of them. As well they actually can feel pain, and cast spells. As you note they actually cast TwoP, they don't use their sword for it, I think that's just risidual energy. But, their weapons scale with Int. Meaning, these are intelligent creatures with faith, which lifeless golems don't strike me as having.

This is how I'll set it up. Rank 1 is the crappy regular knights armour

You are pretty much just a page with aspiriations of being the next Artorias

Rank 2 you are a knight, you choose your armour- Full Sets? berenike, Astora, Balder, Crystalline, etc

Rank 3 - Acess to more armours- Dark for th Cursed and some other on for the True

Rannk 4- Access to the Knights Gear

Rank 5- Artorias Gear

The only way to rank up would be to be summoned in the forest, near to the Sif door and drop your items so the host could see what you have. We also probably don't kill Sif unless we have to (Ture group only, Cursed can kill him ifns they want to)

I have to point out the two sides of the covenant probably hate each other more than they hate anyone else so its going to be constant civil war.

Yeah but our loyalty to our god mentor ensures that we only occasionally fight each other. ANd when We do its to prove which side/path is better.

We can have True followers vs Cursed follower tournaments in both areas if people want to

Yes, then we should worship Cursed Artorias and the Primordial Serpent, as it was our master who made the covenant with the beasts of the Abyss.
