Would Dark hand be a must equipment to have?

I got seven when trying to fight the four kings with my lvl 30 with a flame server on NG+ alone. So, ya you will probably get some Dark hands easy.

To be fair, I went to new londo about 12 times with... not the best equipment. , but then I used my Power Within. Then I won.

Dark Hand is very good when I need a very light shield. It has a fast parry too. It blocks CSS and WoGs real good.

Crystal shield is the best imo, 4K for 100/60/80/80 defense? Hell yeah!

80/80???? I need to test that shield. I have grown tired if the Dark Hand because when someone hits you, you are pushed very far away from your opponent.

only downside is no Parry, but theres always slot #2.

It would be very bad if you are near a cliff or an edge.

Useful as hell for PvP, especially against mages, pyros, and the rare lightning throwing sunbro. I also haven't tested its parrying ability, but i've heard it's crazy good at reducing damage from a missed parry. It's a really rare drop though. Maybe not as much as a slab, but I've only ever gotten one from farming.

Edit: Thanks for reminding me the thing existed, it's been sitting in my FH's back pocket collecting dust. I've gotta try bringing it out a bit more.
