Please tell me these things are commonish.

because I am started to get worried about my game disk :|
Monsters routinely fall through the floor (makes farming a pain xD)
sometimes an area wont load for a good few seconds EG. firelink after coming down in the elevator.
half a second of freeze as I invade.

Please tell me these are normal

only the monsters falling through the floor is common. The area not loading is only seen for me if I take the catacombs shortcut to Nito.

areas loading only when you take jump shortcuts is the only thing i've seen, what really pisses me off is when it freezes every time i either leave the chat or in it.

Oh okay, little worrying but not the end of the world I guess, also is the catacombs shortcut to nito the gravelord covenant or am I missing out on something cool here?

I get none of these things... well, a dragon flew through the ground ONCE, but they're glitchy anyway.

All flying monsters usually kill themselves by falling off somewhere but I kinda assumed that was normal, I very rarely actually kill the drakes myself...

One time I fell through the floor in the forest for like 2 hours then I died somehow.

I can imagin my toon being like WTF did I just go through a time displacement portal? wait a minute those monsters I just killed are back DIE MO***EFERS!!

The monsters falling through the floor is incredibly rare for me and the other issues are non existent

Rats seem to fall through the floor often.

Ive noticed if you use a powerful weapon like BKGA or Soul spear enemys may fall through floors or tight spaces, more commomly rats. simply because the power lvl pushes them through the boundaries of the lvl.

some times in anor londo or the burg the textures of the place won't load for a while but the collision masks are still there so i don't fall to my death, makes navigating really hard.

I always have the rat in the aqueduct thing fall through the floor whenever it drops something. I've had a few times where I come down the elevator from the church and firelink shrine is not loaded all the way (I can see the area where petrus is and then everything else is just gone). I don't invade very often though so I've never run into any problems with it

im guessing your talking mainly about rats falling through the floor. i found that using only R1 attacks helps this not happen. it seems to happen if you use R2 or some other powerful attack. i have never had areas that didnt load, until yesterday when i was coming down the stairs leading to where tinite demon and then the room with the silver knight armor in anor londo. i was about to walk into the room with the sk armor and there was just nothing there i could see what looked like a forest and thats it. it quickly loaded but thats the first time its happend for me.

Okay look, the game isn't perfect, luckily the only glitches that I know of that are that bad are anor londo damage, invisible invaders/summons and things falling through the floor when farming, rather than more pressing things.

Rats and the blossom gecko's mainly although this occurs with all enemies that leave a corpse to an extent.

and how dare you say the game is not perfect :affraid: All I was checking is that some of this is normal because I was really worried my disk was dying on me (since I never really noticed it till recently )

Meh, it happens to me almost every time I play. I more or less got used to this

Oh, I once got really mad when I fell through a floor that didn't load, but well s**t happens.
