Another type of scum on Dark Souls...

I've found what I perceive to be the worst duo possible, a host/DW combo.

These guys hang in blatant coop zones to farm summons, the DW has the usual spawn BS, wake up WoG arsenal and if the summon is too skillful, they send him home..

I'd motion these guys are the worst. It's not even like they're PvPing where PvP is going on, they're farming guys who want to help out players who are struggling and waste people's time.

Sad thing is, I've seen a few of these guys since I've come back from my break and they've really irked me. I wanna know is this kinda thing common place now?

Never even thought that people could think of doing this. Clever and evil...

Yea I've seen a few of these, I've seen a host, DW, and forest hunter combo. I imagine it is faster to farm souls by summon than it is to wait for invasions.

If it follows the DeS model, it starts out with lots of trollers, little imagination. This leads to fewer trollers, much more imagination. So, all but the dedicated trollers should eventually leave. But, the dedicated trollers will up the ante.

that's why they do it I guess, but to me it's even worse than ganking, as the guys they're getting in won't be set up to fight a decked out masked up DW really...

Worst is it's not even their intention to PvP, it's to help people it's deterring phantoms from offering their help which is the biggest problem with this for me.

I have encountered that kind of thing once. It was my first playthrough... Then they even celebrated their "victory" by doing this strange dance gesture. I later realized it was the channeler's tridents move. Yeah, no wonder i turned out to be a forest hunter and hate the gankers.

This happened to me in Demon's 4-1 once.

I was summoned and the invader and host were pretending to fight. i got killed the first two times this happened. Third i was prepared and went ape **** on them and killed the black phantom and preceeded to crystal out after turning my back to the host and bowing

the worse i've seen is a host, two sunbros and a dw, i was like (this was in the forest while i was hunting)

Also, in DeS, people were being summoned and then sent away ASAP with a negative rating.

I agree boiler, guys who gank are not real sunbros.

Also, this pair I'm talking about didn't even try to hide it, the DW just spawn point BS'd me and let fly everything in the dirty tactics codebook.. pretty shocking really.

they have been doing this for a while now, that's all i see when i get gangbanged.

I know, I really don't like the way sunbros have been taken now, it's like it's the unofficial covenant for guys who want to gank (at least there are those of us who are good sunbros who uphold the spirit of the covenant )

in all seriousness though no, I didnt think this was common. nasty trick though.

I dunno, I may not like ganking but I cant argue that it isn't cooperation!

Wow Serious I've never seen that myself but it seems to be about the worst sort of behavior I can think of.

I remember watching my beloved being summoned (Undead Burg)
He had to move to a different area to co-op because some
jack *** repeatedly summoned him only to fight the Dark Wraith there.
He died every time, and no one else would summon him

Happened to my friend repeatedly when we were co oping together. It never happened to me, but maybe that's cause I always looked awesome with my Havel's BKGS (I didn't know Havel's was so used back then). He had his mage stuff on, but it wasn't complete, so he didn't look too good, but he looked like he could be 1 shot bsed, and so that's what they did...

I came across one of these the other day, when I first got summoned I was annihilated by two DWs and I was summoned a second time, and I ran off and the host sent me home.

I hate guys that do this, it's a no win situation.

I've had it happen kinda. I was summoned in the burg (what a shock) and the host pointed me to the dueling square where a wraith was waiting. Kicked the wraith's *** but got BC'd before I could land a last hit, and the wraith messaged me saying I got sent because I won.

I've had a similar thing happen. Got summoned by RSS in the painted world. 10 seconds later a white phantom is summoned. The phantom thinks Im an invader and joins in to gank me. First time I died. Second time I kill the host because the phantom takes ages to be summoned in.

Such a low SL... I could probably make an SL120 once I get out of school in two weeks. Or you could make an SL80 build *shrug* though, idk how two pyromancers with g.halberds would work. Considering they'd be very similar builds, it'd come down to pure skill. Which.. *shrug* I have this avatar. It says all. So does the 1st line of my sig...
