How to do Low level builds?

I've made another Build for 120 SL PvP, and I've been seriusly helped by low level full ornstein's and whatnot, but one time I put my summon sign to help somebody, I find a hard leather low level guy fighting an invader with full havels and Fire Claymore.... I managed to hold my ground with my freshly made toon, Managed to surprise him by parrying him, ect but nonetheless he killed me several times (I returned quickly to place my sign again and was summoned to the same world).


Thing is, they totally ruin the excitement of the game. I want to help guys fend them off with low level character.


But thing is....

how do I do it?. I have a 160+ build and I could barely beat the four kings in coop, how are people able to overcome such enemies with a level 1 character?? Help me here.

Havel's Ring, +5 full Catarina's, Darkwood Grain Ring, and getting a +5 fire weapon ASAP.

I'm currently doing an SL 1 run, and I beat the Four Kings with a +5 lightning battleaxe wearing full +5 Catarina armour. It's definitely a challenge, and it'll take a few tries, but you'll overcome it. SL1 runs are actually very, very fun.

To answer your question most of the guys wearing absurd late game gear on low level toons are bottomless box glitchers. They cheated to get the equipment.

If you want to be competitive, lots of End, fast roll/Dwgr and an elemental weapon are necessary.
