yeah, thanks for the suggestion but i tried that first. unfortunately i didn't see any mention of it in the location overview. also have yet to find anything related on youtube.

i finally figured out what the item is, the gold serpent ring. i didn't realize that i was looking at it from a different angle :oops: thanks anyway!
