Abnormal builds. High K/D Ratio.

Anyone lately find some seriously abstract PvP builds that you have faced or made with a high winning rate? Other than the traditional claymore,zwei,mgs, etc. builds?

Today i saw a guy with claws and he killed myself and 2 other phantoms. Jaw dropped. lol.

I just came because the thread title told me there would be a good ratio of Kraft Dinner.

Seen a few straight archers and whip users, but I'll generally roll over to any weapon

Anyone with a lightning rapier and hornets ring. Could be even naked, but they kill me all the time.

Today some guy killed me three times in a row with a crystal Dragon bone fist. Sure he did bs me but still made me feel ashamed of myself, doesnt feel good beeing fisted to death.

Never seen a crystal bone fist wow. Strange.

I think it was a bone fist, is there any more fist weapons? Havent used one myself so wouldnt know.

Claw weapons. dual wields claws and kills my 2 phantoms and me. 1v1 of course. but it was insane how good he was with them.

Yep, that was a Dragon Bone fist made from Iron Golem Core, and its buffable, so he used crystal magic weapon. Very good damage with 40 STR but the range is crap

Well I have two uncommon builds, I wouldn't call them abstract, that have decent K/D ratios. Maybe this isn't what you mean but they are unique compared to everything I run in to out there.

One build is wearing Balder's Armor and a Pharis Hat and wields a Balder Shield, Longbow, Scythe and Chaos Blade.

The other is wearing full Silver Knights gear and wields a Black Knight Shield, Black Knight Halbred and BK Sword.

I fought a guy a while back in full warrior gear and he parried me and killed me with a longsword.

KDR in a RPG seriously? Lol. KDR is for COD noobs.

I run full black iron, black knight shield, and msgs. I have never come across a clone and my k/d ratio is quite good.

It gets a ton of kills, mainly because most people do not have 2500 hp...lol! Always keep in mind, however, that k/d ratio not only depends on the build, but the player's skill as well.

KDR is a term that can could applicable to any multiplayer game that involves killing one another.

It's always hard to come across a 100% clone of anything, unless you're rocking the Havel's Set+MOM Mask+BKGA set-up which is why you've probably never come across someone rocking your build the exact same way as you, but all those things you mention are separately very popular items of gear, so it's really not all that "abnormal"

Didn't think it was extremely abnormal, was just stating that I hadn't seen anybody else rocking the full set. Honestly, the way people mix and match gear to try and min/max, I find pure sets more "abnormal" than the mixed sets. Also, I have only seen 1 person in all my pvp using a msgs and it was a lightning msgs at that, not a pure +15 one.

I see a lot of crystal MSGS, don't know why. I guess people like the added damage.

That would be interesting. I may try this. Where do you see alot of these? Perhaps I just choose the not so popular pvp places.

Was that in the forest, PS3? It might be me I created a toon just to learn how to parry, I use the equipment you described and invade as forest hunter

I sport a dark sword and I have 76 poise and flip ring on with 1700 hp I also use the composite bow and I get good results. My dark sword does almost 400 on enemies that dont wear lots of armor and I do 187 to 250 on havel budies. I can attack 2.2 times in the time it takes a ultra grt Swords to attack once.

Came across a guy who left-handed a silverknight spear and buther knife and had a g.halberd in his right. This was before I knew about the SKS's prowess as an off-hand weapon and got destroyed by surprise pokes.

a guy came at me with dual wielding katanas today. Not so abnormal, he beat me tho surprisingly, the only thing abnormal was that dual wielding in dark souls was rated as poor, hm. I may try something just to test the theory. Similar to my old demons souls build
